My husband and I stated at this hotel for only 1 night as we were going to a family party. The room was very spacious as it had a double bed and 2 singles with still lots of spare room, lovely modern bathroom, tea making facilities and a large screen tv. The bar was very busy with locals and guests...

We booked this on the recommendation of some family members. The room was spacy and clean, though the water pressure in the shower was not as good as we would have liked. We arrived home late from a wedding and were delighted that coffee was available. After a good nights sleep the highlight of our stay was a wonderful brakfast,...

Immaculate and clean room. Friendly and helpful hosts. However, double bed was tiny, not much more than a large single, and the duvet was too small. Was like sleeping on a concrete matress, thus didn't get much sleep. Loud extractor fan from bar or kitchen didn't stop till gone midnight. After that it was quiet though. Didn't eat here but...

Thank you for taking the time to review your stay at my hotel. It really matters to me that our guests enjoy every aspect of their stay. I sincerely apologise that on this occasion my hotel did not meet your expectations. Having stayed in many hotels up and down the country that are far inferior to us, much dearer than...

I recently stayed at Eskdale Lodge for an over night stop, with my 5 year old son to watch Manchester United. Fed up with the usual chain type hotels, I decided to opt for a family run hotel/B&B. This was perfect and the staff made us both very welcome. The room was large, clean and had the usual amenities that...

I stayed at the Eskdale Lodge for an overnight stay prior to a football match. Plenty of parking was available and we were quickly shown to our rooms despite the place appearing to be busy. The rooms were clean well furnished and comfortable. On arrival we noticed good food coming out, that was enough to entice us to eat there...
