The old building is clean and tidy with a very comfortable atmosphere which belies the budget price. The room in the old house was large and again comfortable, I understand some rooms in the extensions at the back are smaller but also comfortable. the food was good. The staff were friendly and helpful, I would have no hesitation staying there...

This is a local establishment in Brooklands which offers good home cooked food which is very reasonably priced. Sunday lunch is £15.95 for 3 courses. Good choices of starters and mains are available and food is always hot and plentiful. Recommended.

Me and the wife stayed here for a night on Saturday 12th November. We had spent the day shopping at the Trafford Centre and this hotel was about a 20minute drive. When we arrived the car park was quite full and it was a bit of tight squeeze when parking. A nice greeting at the front desk and we were...

Extremely warm and inviting. Comfortable and affordable. Quite a lovely place. Only drawback is the walls are quite thin so expect to hear others around you. Was not noisy, just noticeable. We really enjoyed our stay.

Loved this hotel. Dinner the first night was very good, Magda (server) was delightful. Breakfast excellent. Room (in annexe) not bad. Beds comfortable. Only "niggle", toilet seat nowhere fitted the toilet bowl. All the staff, from receptionists, waitresses, kitchen staff, housekeeping, exceptionally friendly. Should be in Manchester this time next year, will definitely stay here.

We stayed at this hotel for 3 nights. The staff are very friendly and make you welcome. The hotel is comfortable, but needs updating, it looks very worn. The lock to our room did not seem very secure. We had a leaking gutter which dripped throughout the night and the TV did not work. Breakfast was good each day and...

We stayed in a twin room which was quite roomy and comfortable. Only thing I would suggest for the room was the need of a toilet roll holder. The staff at the Normanhurst are second to none. Nothing was too much trouble for them and they were so pleasant. We stayed for 2 weeks and had a great time. Breakfast...

Was very pleasantly surprised by this Hotel. I thought it was extremely good value for money. We were let down by kennels at the last minute and had to take to large dogs to Manchester with us. They were catered for with no issues. The gardens were lovely and the breakfast extremely good. The restaurant is attractive and the staff...

I stayed over 2 nights during my weekend in Manchester. This is the 2nd time I've stayed in this particular hotel within a year and have found both occasions to be enjoyable. Suitable, quiet location with a beautiful garden area. The staff are friendly, the room was ideal (single room with double bed) for what I needed with an adequate...

We came up to Manchester for a night out and decided to stay in the Normanhurst. Our room was really spacious, airy and clean. It was free parking and the car park was safe. Only £25 in the taxi to the city centre. Great value for money, breakfast was included and was tasty with the usual cooked full English buffet...
