This ryokan is a very short walk from the ferry and in an excellent location. Our room was pleasant and immaculate with a European bed, coffee maker and hot water machine. We thought the service was lovely and personal. We stayed two nights and on both occasions the amazing food was delicious and beautifully presented. They also managed really well...

I really liked this place. Check in was very easy and was quickly shown to my room. Toshea (sp?) brought me up to my room and thoroughly went through all the features. In fact, it was probably the warmest greeting of all the places that I stayed in Japan. The room was a mix of Western and traditional. It had...

Delightful room facing the sea. Great welcome on checking in with very enthusiastic detailed information on facilities. Western beds very comfortable with cosy duvets and fine bedlinen. First evening meal served in vast restaurant on second floor with three other tables occupied. Second evening was very disappointing as staff appeared not to know what they were doing. Dishes arrived without...

Great staff, lovely clean rooms, good grub, outstanding bath tubs! Hey man, you made it all the way to Myijima... stay overnight!!!! Fellow hikers... do walk up the mountain. Trails are paved and the scenery is nice. You can always take the rope way down. Bring water. Also since you're awesome and staying overnight it's worth getting up at sunrise...

When my husband and I arrived at Kuryado iroha we learned to our great dismay that the Ocean View room that we were promised on our itinerary, and had paid for, was not available since our travel agency had erroneously booked a Mountain View room. This was a huge disappointment to us as we'd booked a year in advance and...

Location Iroha is one of the closest hotels to the pier. You will see it soon after turning into the main shopping street. Some other ryokans were further into the island. However, the trade-off for convenience is that it can be quite noisy during the day after the first boatful of tourists arrive. Room We stayed in “Yo”, a Japanese...

Situated on the foreshore of an island a 1/2 hour train ride & a 10 minute ferry ride from Hiroshima, this hotel was simply the best stay we had in Japan. The island welcomes you with a huge bright orange Shinto-gate & friendly wild deer said to be gods. The hotel, or ryokan, has only about a dozen breathtaking rooms....all...

This hotel was our splurge of the trip. We loved the Japanese hospitality and touches. The Onsen was gorgeous and quiet. The hotel staff was extremely kind and helpful. We checked in when it was pouring rain and they ran over with towels for us as soon as we walked in to dry ourselves and our luggage. We also opted...

We really loved spending the night on the island as it truly is a magical place. However, it's impossible for me to justify the return on investment at this property. Don't get me wrong the hotel is clean and well put together, the staff is lovely, the food was pretty good and the room overlooking the ocean and famous torii...

My husband and I had 1 night in this ryokan and we had a fabulous time. Upon arrival, they showed us to our lovely room and told us about the hotel and their amenities. We scheduled our dinner and breakfast times and then we were off to explore the island. The female onsen was an indoor/outdoor variety. The view from...
