To the esteemed staff at El Castillo: you are beyond-comparison. You --individually and collaboratively -- created a vacation where we could step away from a world of cares and be (instead) cared for. Your service reflects utmost attention to the smallest details of your hospitality trade, and conveys the deepest capacity of the human heart to be present, available, alert...

HOTEL’S FAVOURITE REVIEW

This was absolutely the most fabulous hotel experience ever. We travel frequently and stayed at this property b/c our friends have stayed there on prior occasions. The manager Scott, chef Danny and the entire staff was delightful and exceeded every expectation. They knew each guest, remembered your drink preferences and accommodated every whim. My boyfriend jokingly asked at dinner for...

My girl and I stayed in Suite #1 for a week. It's a very long room with balconies at both ends. They keep the balcony doors open on both ends allowing a warm but refreshing breeze to blow through the suite keeping it cool even without the ample air conditioning unit that will cool it down even further if you...

I knew within minutes of arriving at El Castillo that I had to come back. We spent a week in early October at El Castillo, and it was the best vacation/hotel experience of my life. The hotel is beautiful and the staff very welcoming and accommodating. We had a spectacular view of the ocean with Macaws flying by every morning....

Came for business and never wanted to leave. I have never felt so welcome anywhere before. Including visiting family. We were so fortunate the other hotels we tried were full until we came upon this little gem. The fact that it is so small and exclusive has made it incomparable. The staff were so very kind, helpful and friendly. Nothing...

My sister and I stayed at El Castillo Luxury Boutique Hotel in Costa Rica from late September to early October 2016.  I have to say that our stay was phenomenal.  First the view is breathtaking, looks exactly like the pictures online and at night the sound of the water is superb.  Secondly the staff is very helpful and friendly.  They...

As Scott and his staff say and say often: “No Worries” and they mean it. We recently spent a wonderful week at El Castillo. We chose the hotel because of the unbelievable reviews on TripAdvisor, but were still unprepared for the service we received. Scott and his staff (Kerley, Zoe, and everyone there week of 8/22) was very attentive and...

With much anticipation I booked El Castillo as our 4th hotel in Costa Rica hoping to have saved the best for our last night of vacation. After having read so many great reviews I felt that I was in the wrong hotel! Our entire stay was tempered by our checkin experience. There was no welcome, no friendly courtesies we have...

We just spent our birthday week at El Castillo - We decided to splurge a bit and did the 4 night romantic getaway package and it delivered ALL that it promised, and more!!! What a treat! The Garza island tour was an unexpected delightful experience - truly a pleasure and a delight!! A Robinson Caruso-esque 1/2 day on a pristine,...

El Castillo Hotel is where my husband and I stayed for 6 nights during our recent honeymoon in Costa Rica. The stay here was so memorable and beautiful.
