The Segen hotel has an amazing location around 3 minutes walk to the main square. The staff were friendly and the hotel has a cool rooftop to relax with beers. The rooms themselves could definitely use a bit of a clean and a fresh paint job. The wifi while usable, was constantly in and out. The worst part of the... More

First things first, it was a nice hotel in heart of Ataco with some friendly and helpful staff (although they don't speak English) which isn't a bad thing. The main square is two blocks away and the hotel is secure and monitored by a night guard. The rooms were big, but very old looking and without any fans or ac... More

Staff was friendly, water & beverages available at the front desk ($), laundry available ($). Wifi was good in the common areas but spotty in the upper level rooms. Showers on the lower level were warm, ice water on the upper levels. Rooms were very bare but perfectly adequate. Light sleepers will prefer ear plugs as the walls are paper... More

Our hotel for the next two nights was Hotel Segen. Nice place but very noisy. All through the tour, if it wasn't dogs, it was cockerels, and if it wasn't cockerels, it was dogs. Here it was most definitely barking dogs. I was totally prepared for this - took earplugs - and then lost them. WiFi in the rooms. No... More

Stayed here for two nights while in Ataco. My room had 2 twin beds and was clean. The hotel is like a fortress and you can only enter through a locked gate. Its is located really close to the main square and the center of town. Restaurants and bars are all within a very short walking distance. My room did... More

We stayed at this hotel during La Fiesta de la Luz, and this hotel has both the friendliest staff and the best location. I helped them organise their shrine created by coloured cellophane plastic candle holders with tealight candles inside. And after that we could walk down the road to the local celebrations. This included dancing on the street and... More

Beautiful and quiet hotel, just out of the centre of Ataco. Staff is very friendly and helpful. Clean and pleasant rooms around a quiet courtyard with fountain. Unfortunately no coffee or breakfast available.

Two blocks off the main square (restaurants and things to see)-- perfect location. The staff are incredibly amazing! This place has a very open concept (in an L shape), two floors and has a mini roof top patio, awesome for those nights for a couple drinks. Rooms are clean, but we had a bit of mould on the roof....Laundry options... More

The hotel was very close to the downtown. Actually it's just a small town. The weather was chilly in summer. The room was big, so, you have enough space to place your belongings. The bathroom was clean. There was a small kitchen at the lobby zone that you can use. There were a fridge, a microwave, and some utensils. There... More

This hostel has a great location. It is two blocks away from this town's central square. Most of the tourism and main activities take place there or nearby. The rooms were pretty clean, though the shower curtain needed some cleaning. The beds were too soft for my taste, but I did finally get some good sleep. I stayed there with... More
