We stayed in this hotel after finishing Tateyama Alpine Route. The room is woww.. Japanese stye room with a private onsen bath viewed to the river. It was really beyond our expectation. The staffs there were great but hardly speak English. Thanks to Ota San, he was the one who helped us in most of the communication and also help...

This is a traditional Japanese inn (Ryokan) located in a hot spring area. From the welcome when you first arrive, to the tatami matted room, the local banquet, the communal bath and the final sayonara, you’ll experience Japanese country hospitality. One has to remove one’s shoes and store them in allocated boxes before going on the tatami matted corridor leading...

I highly recommend this beautiful hotel. My husband and I stayed at Keisui after a trip on the Tateyama Kurobe Alpine Route, and it made for a perfect end to the day. Our room was a splurge, but the attentive service and high quality of the room and food made it worthwhile. I've lived and traveled extensively in Japan over...

My stay was part of the ANA package, so I had no idea of how much it cost. The first thing I saw at the entrance was a coach bus, 2 more to follow!! I thought to myself, well I might have made a bad choice, I always prefer quieter places, especially on travel. But then immediately I found out...

Ryokusui Tei Keisui was our one-night splurge on our trip to Japan. It was a convenient place to stay before we went on the Tateyama Kurobe Alpine Route. (The bus stop to start the Alpine Route is a little more than a 5 minute walk from the hotel.) We opted for the room with the private cyprus bath. The room...

“Though the rooms with a private bath are expensive, the price is comparable to other nice Japanese inns (especially when you consider that the multi-course dinner is included in the room rate). It is a luxurious and relaxing experience and I highly recommend it!”
