Myself, husband and two dogs stumbled across Kintail Lodge whilst heading to North Uist in November. It was lovely to receive a genuinely warm welcome from new manageress Jane who showed us to our very large room with a beautiful view and had no problem with accommodating two pooches! The room was warm, well equipped with a fantastic hot, powerful...

Enjoyed our visit to Kintail Lodge with friends whom lived fairly locally- Staff very friendly and atmosphere great. Old fashioned looking but served good wholesome food and can recommend the beer battered haddock which was excellent.

A few of us spent the weekend at Glenshiel Lodge, not far from here, so it was our evening spot for dinner and a few beers. I thought the food was very good, nice to have locally sources seasonal produce like venison and local seafood. Had some good laughs with the locals over the pool table also, they're a nice...

14 November 2016 We knew when we booked Kintail Lodge for 2 nights that the Hotel had recently changed hands however, having stayed there and been well looked after previously we decided that on location alone, this place had to be worth another visit, our friend Ben from Skye decided to join us there for the night of 13 November...

We stopped not knowing what to expect! The service was incredible to begin with, one felt at home. The dinning room was full for the night, fortunately they found us a table. We had the best food up to that moment of our trip. We can't wait to have a chance to also stay there!

We all had soup and sandwich deal . Everbody was very happy. I had also had this and i dad the smoked salmon sandwich. There was enough...

A group of us recently stayed here at the lodge for two nights, and were delighted with the accommodations. The staff members were all very kind and welcoming, especially Michelle. The room my husband and I stayed in was lovely, with a view of the water. We loved the shortbread, teas, and hot chocolate amenities in the room. The bed...

Twice we stopped here for a Pub Meal whilst staying nearby in holiday cottage. Each time we had a good meal. There is a hotel restaurant and the Bar area has restaurant facilities with the same menu. The specials board offered seasonal fayre and we had rabbit once and venison the second time. Good wholesome portions and the place was...

Our room turned out to be a double bedroom plus a single bedroom / corridor and a vast bathroom, which the owner was at pains to say had yet to be refurbished. - It was in a far better condition than many we've encountered, so we weren't complaining! There was even a large comfortable cane chair in the bathroom! The...

My husband and I were married at Eilean Donan Castle five years ago and had our reception at Kintail Lodge. We returned for our anniversary last week. There aren't words enough to describe the wonderful experience we had on both occasions. Marianne and Michele are superb hostesses and their staff are equally fantastic. What a team! Nothing was too much...
