Lunch for two, no reservation needed. Kitchen closes at 2.30 pm. Good soup of the day and salmon with horseradish cream, quick service, standard price. Nice and typical ambiance although it is a touristic place. Recommended.

We recently called here for lunch after visiting the castle, we were made very welcome and had a lovely lunch, Carrot and coriander soup with a bagel, along with a couple of pints. Lovely little bar, nice to find it open, February. nice young man behind the bar who was very helpful. Worth a visit. Lovely castle just up the...

We were attending a wedding at Eilean Donan castle and needed somewhere which was "dog friendly" and near to the castle. The hotel was advertised online as a family run business and this appealed to us. It also boasted fresh local seafood which again was a real plus in our books. We arrived and checked in. The reception we got...

We recently stayed for four nights. The room (#1) was clean and pleasant, with a great view. The owner was quite helpful on the rare occasion when something was needed. It being winter in the middle of the off-season, a lot of the heating in the halls was turned off, but the room itself was fine. Our only negative is...

The food and view was probably my favorite part. Generally it seems like an ok hotel. The staff was rude in my opinion. We were trying to be friendly and my dad was just trying to figure out who he had talked to on the phone by saying are you _____? And whatever the persons name was. And the person...

Stayed here for 3 nights to attend a family wedding. We stayed in room no 1 and found it to be very nice. The food is excellent a bit bit over priced but still very nice. The people in the bar were very friendly and the staff and owner were very pleasant. If I was up that way again I...

Like many folks we've frequently intended to visit Dornie but always seem to be "passing by" - finally we got here & we popped into the Hotel on a quiet weekday! We were pleasantly surprised to find some really interesting choices on the bar lunch menu - we enjoiyed an interesting fresh langoustine salad with a wee chilli kick and...

After travelling around the Isle of Skye all day we were ready for a drink and an early dinner. The staff were willing to agree to our request and we were soon sitting down in this quiet hotel. Another Australian from Brisbane, who was travelling alone joined us and we all enjoyed a nice meal together.

Shown through into the pleasant, small hotel dining room by Bridie, who was very friendly and took orders for food and drinks promptly. Not having the biggest of appetites we ordered the Lamb casserole with Basmati Rice and the Pan cooked Lambs Liver with bacon and served on mash. Didn’t have to wait too long and both meals were very...
