My partner and I have been traveling all over Italy for the past month staying a varies campsites and we both agree this place is by far our favourite. The staff are super helpful and friendly. It really gives out a very happy atmosphere. The highlight of our Sicily trip!

One of the very best memories of our Sicilian holiday. Trips into town with a bus. Works ! A lot to see in Syrakusa ! A lot of very nice cats. A lorry passes that sells vegetables. Fine beach if you like to swim. If we can we´ll go back there !! =))

Plenty of shade under olive trees, great beach with lovely warm and clear water to swim in. very peaceful with a rigorous siesta period. Paolo the owner is the biggest plus, making everyone welcome, telling you what to visit, and addressing everyone by name. Excellent for tents and vans, motor homes. Also very ECO conscious. 4 nights.

A very sociable site with plenty of overhead cover. We had a very friendly stay here. Paolo and Loes go out of their way to make you feel at home. This rubs off on campers too. Toilet facilities are clean and capacious. Easy for Noto and Syracuse and the beach!

We stayed here 2 nights, but if we would have had more time, we could have easily stayed a lot longer. The camping is right beside the beach. It is beautiful with a lot of shade. The facilities are very very clean, toilets and showers use well water which is great. There is even a fridge with freezer that you...

Paradiso del Mare was the first stop on our Sicilian roadtrip and we couldn't get a better start to our holidays. The campsite is ideally situated close to a sandy beach and the hosts are SO welcoming and helpful. It is rustique and private but it also has all the amenities you need - clean toilets, hot showers, access to...

Stayed for a couple of nights with my kids, great location just a few yards from the beach. The facility is clean and full of olive trees that provide a much needed cover from the Sicilian sun; but the best this place offers is Paolo, who is just fantastic as a host.

Camping Paradiso del Mare provides everything a camping tourist might desire. It has shady grounds, very clean toilets, and the nearby beach (less than 50 metres away) has fine yellow sand and crystal clear water. The camping is very quiet and suitable for families. We were there with our tent and we had free access to a refrigerator to store...

For two old chaps cycling round Sicily, Camping Paradiso del Mare proved to be ideal. It was among the very best of the 13 campsites at which we stayed. Paolo was a genial, hospitable and very helpful host and provided us with information which was very helpful in our subsequent two and half weeks cycling. The site itself is clean,...

Official Description (provided by the hotel)
Paradiso del Mare is a small camping characterized by a rich shading and the proximity to the beach of Gallina (only 50 meters!). We host maximum 70 people (around 22 spots), creating a cozy and quiet atmosphere in armony with nature. We are centrally situated along a beautiful itinerary that allows you to discover this part of Sicily. In fact, at about 20 kilometers or a 20 minutes drive, lies Syracuse with the old quarter of Ortygia, mentioned on the list of the UNESCO World Heritage Site. The capital of Sicilian baroque, Noto, can be reached in just 12 km or 10 minutes by car. If you are looking for some activity, you can't miss a visit to nearby Cava Grande with its beautiful and refreshing lakes, and of course mount Etna, the famous active vulcano. In our campsite you will rediscover the joy of camping surrounded by nature, while protected by the shade of olive trees, eucalyptus and pine trees. Your pets are welcome (dog or cat sitter service available). ... more   less
