Not my first visit, but the first time I have taken my grandchildren. they are aged 6 and 4 years. They really enjoyed the stay and loved the breakfast. We had dinner at the local pub which is always a good experience.

Enjoyed my stay at Twitchen Farm. Delicious breakfast cooked to order with views across open countryside from breakfast room. Had a spacious bedroom and beds comfortable. Only negatives were inconsistent supply of hot water and poor soundproofing. Another visitor had TV on very loud which was a pity when you are staying in such a beautiful isolated place away from...

Thank you for your your review. I am sorry that you were disturbed by the noise from the neighbouring room, all the rooms are sound insulated and the floor has an accoustalay matting to help reduce the noise transfer, but of course it is an 18th century stone building that has been converted. I am not aware of any problem...

Thanks for your kind review. Yes buses are a bit of a problem if you don't fancy the 2 miles walk to the bus stop! however taxis can be organised via Webbers of Challacombe but it does require prior planning as they do need a bit of notice.
