Detailed Reviews
This hotel is located across from the parking area at Nagoya Airport, 4-2-5 Sentorea Tokoname. It is a 5-10 minute walk from the hotel into the airport terminal. The high speed boat dock is located virtually next to the hotel.
The room was a typical Japanese hotel room, small but adequate. The room was very clean. There is free internet and for those without a computer, there are PC’s in the lobby for guest use. The room contains a refrigerator.
There is a tub/shower combination in the small plastic bathroom.
The room was warm (March) and the air conditioner could not be turned on. The window opened and helped to cool the room but this let in jet noise from the airport.
The hotel offers a sparse European (croissant roll) or Japanese breakfast included with the price of the room. There is no restaurant in the hotel. There are many eating establishments in the airport before passing through security so it is easy to find a place for dinner. There is a 24 hour convenience store located in the same building as the hotel.
The accommodations are very adequate if spending the night while waiting for a flight.

We stayed at this hotel just a few days ago and recommend it for it's location.
It's within about 5/10minutes walking distance from the airport.
The room was clean, sufficient bath towels, breakfast was reasonable but it gets very busy from about 06.00am as its quite a big hotel and usually very busy I would say due to the reasonable cost.
It's perfect if you just want a quick overnight for an early flight.
It's also right beside the sea if you get there early and would like a nice walk down by the sea,
There's a shuttle bus service from 6am but unless the weather is bad you could just walk.

Toyoko Inns are rather like American motel chains, but generally nicer. They all look the same, and are a good deal for Japan. We paid less than 8000 yen for a family triple (though they only provide 2 pillows - you have to rent a 3rd one!). Breakfast included.
There's a shuttle bus to the airport but it's only a 5 minute walk.
Great location for early morning flights and since they have all the toiletries and even night shirts,
you don't need to unpack.

I am very much used to comment hotels on Trip. As my profiles shows, it is very rare than I can be really upset by an hotel. They did it. I booked a room for my whole family several months ago. 2 months ago, they claimed my visa card was not valid - of course it is very much valid - And I had to book it again. I sent them a message to understand this strange request. No answer. This week, they played the same trick but I could not fill again the form in due course (I had only 24 h) and they cancelled my room. I tried to book a room and of course no more room available... nice policy. Easy to understand why: this policy is very convenient to book a group. Shame on you, I have now to find another hotel for 4 people, not that easy in Japan. I can't trust this hotel and will recommend not to book a room with them.

It's a very nice hotel near the airport! They have everything what I need, for example, there is a small supermarket in the hotel area and I could buy from fast food to local souvenirs.

Had a short stay after arriving from a late night flight. Conveniently located near the airport with seaside view which we enjoyed while reaching hotel via foot. There's free shuttle bus that runs every 10-15mins, free breakfast with choice of Japanese or Western style (their cooks/serving aunt were really friendly and nice with bright smile), complete room amenities, free WiFi and a mini mart located at one of the green side.
For the amount paid its really the best around that area! Recommended place for anyone with early flight in Nagoya the very next day :)

This Toyoko Inn is situated on Nagoya airport island itself, which makes it very convenient, specially since Nagoya airport is closed at night, apparently. The information on the Toyoko website makes it look like there are two hotels, "green" and "orange", but this is quite misleading since they are simply two wings of the one and the same (large) hotel. I don't understand what the point is of splitting them into two. The only difference seems to be that the "green" side serves Japanese-style breakfast and the "orange" side "European" breakfast, but there is nothing to stop you using whichever side (breakfast) you prefer (one interesting difference is that coffee in the Japanese-style breakfast is served in paper cups whereas the "European" side uses china cups, which is quite representative). Finding the hotel from the terminal was a bit awkward as the airport information desk staff (even those manning the special English-speaking role) can speak very limited English and were virtually unable to give directions. Once I managed the find the hotel, my first impression was that both the ground floor (reception) area and my (4th floor) landing stank unmistakably of sewerage. I have never encountered such problem in a Toyoko Inn before, so it seems to be a one-off issue, but that's what I got. Toyoko Inn rooms are always exactly the same everywhere, so no surprises and no smell. The TV was, as usual, at right angles to the bed and the (typically cluttered) writing desk right under a mirror which, not being the narcissistic type, was rather uncomfortable for me. All these are, however, features present throughout the massive Toyoko Inn chain, so definitely not the kind of issue that gets changed quickly or easily. There is a convenience store just outside, which is tremendously helpful as a source of bento boxes for dinner. TV showed Japanese channels only -no CNN, no BBC. Again, a chain-wide flaw. Breakfast, on the other hand, was the best Japanese-style buffet I have found in any Toyoko Inn anywhere, both in quality and quantity. I was pleasantly surprised, Toyoko breakfasts being sometimes erratic, and I can only recommend it. Overall I had a good night's sleep here, keeping in mind that Toyoko's are, really, functional, reasonably-priced business hotels, as something very different from luxury hotels, and no more than that. In the context of a rather frustrating and stressful business trip this hotel felt like a welcoming heaven, in spite of the various flaws, but if I had been out to enjoy myself my perception would almost certainly have been very different. There is another hotel only next door, which may well be more comfortable AND more expensive. I would recommend the Toyoko if you need to stay near the airport, but if you have the time and the money for the train trip into town, then a capsule hotel in Nagoya itself would be much more fun and better value, and if you are not travelling on business, then there is very little reason to be in Nagoya at all, in my opinion.

At the time of booking, this hotel offered the best price of all the hotels on the actual airport island (Comfort Hotel, Centrair Hotel) at 5900 JPY for a single. Most of the reviews here are pretty much on target, so just some extra details:
-While the cheapest, this hotel is also set farthest away from the airport. It is indeed walking distance, but make sure you have an umbrella in rainy/typhoonish conditions (a good portion of the walk is on an open sidewalk).
-There is a shuttle, but it's mainly marked in Japanese. The timetable varies throughout the day, so it'll be more useful for going TO the airport rather than coming from.
-Apparently, making a reservation online + having a flight the next day = choice of a free gift (mostly business related goods) AND a 500 yen discount.... don't know whether this is a campaign or the way things are normally.
-Their breakfast selection is bigger than other Toyoko Inns I've stayed at: onigiri, miso, but also a selection of breads, salad, and a western style soup.
-Bar on property (open at night), but no restaurants for lunch or dinner... best bet would be to walk over to the Centrair Sky Town shopping area (Airport 4F).
True, the Centrair Hotel is definitely more upmarket / stylish and is literally across the street from the airport, but the couple thousand yen you'd save by staying here should quickly make up for it.

From the website, you have the choice : ORANGE SIDE or GREEN SIDE. In fact it's the same hotel, which is painted orange to the right side, and green to the other. And inside, it is simply another great place from TOYOKO INN. 8085 JPN for a short night in a double room in late september.
Those familiar to the TOYOKO INN chain will find here I-DEN-TI-CAL rooms they would have found anywhere else.
The hotel is brand new, along with the CENTRAIR (of course), and offers E-VE-RY thing anyone can find in others TOYOKO INN hotels. From free LAN access to the cute rice balls served complimentary as breakfast in the morning. Ice machines, vending machines, laundry facilities, electronic bidet toilet, and usual amenities, etc etc... Just go visit their website
There's a convenience store on one corner of the hotel where you'll bump into hordes of rude chinese air crew, most of the time. There is also a fancy Italian restaurant next door, part of the best western hotel.
To get there, and back, its a 15-20 minutes of fast walking from the airport. Just follow the sign, and push your suitcases

Decent place to stay for the night if you are planning on visiting Japan. Expect hardish beds but not horribly uncomfortable. Room on 14th floor had 3 beds for us, with a fridge and pot to boil water, but no microwave. Bathroom had a tub but no shower curtain, toilet and the sink are on the other side of the room in it's own compartment. Most items are solely in Japanese. If you do not speak Japanese you should have the google translate app and allow it to translate what you are trying to operate via the camera.
