First started in the 70s as the "Club Mediterrané" and after a period of less fortune, Pedras d'el Rei has recovered its rightful place among the family favourites in the Algarve. This was not our first stay at the resort and it was fully satisfactory. Although not a luxury place, it has been devised mainly as a family friendly resort,...

We were here for two weeks with one kid and a small child. The place is beautiful, very relaxing and family friendly. The villa we were in was essentially good, a bit old perhaps, but clean and with air conditioning which in mid July is all you need!! Also the position of the house was perfect, right in front of...

If you are looking for a getaway where you are surrounded by quiet and tranquility then this is it. There are literally hundreds of acres of greenery, boasting beautiful tropical plants and trees. Amidst these are apartments and villas. We guessed many people have timeshares or retirement places on this resort. It's basically a huge holiday village, but without the...

Been here again and despite an old apartment, the general feeling is that it's a place to revisit. The garden is enormous as you feel safe even late at night. The beach is wonderful and clean, the bars in the beach are nice and their food is fresh and tasty.

This was my fourth visit to this fabulously quiet and restful estate of villas dotted through s vast landscape. One delight is that accommodation comes with free passes for the little train to the beach. And what a beach, miles of clean white sand. To the left ad you get off the train is a nudist beach, very respectable, families...

Pros: The resort is in an ideal location close to the beach and just a couple of miles from the cute town of Tavira. We were upgraded from a studio to a one-bedroom upon arrival. The apartment was spacious, and the easy access to the beach on the little train was great. I was traveling with a friend, but the...

The possibility to chill down The proximity to the Isla Tavira (Isalnd of Tavira), which is acknowledged as one of the most beautiful beaches in the...
