I chose this small hotel for my mother and myself whilst in the area for a cremation - it was a perfect place to feel cosy and warm whilst the weather outside was creating a King Lear scene on the heath. We stopped in bramble cottage as we were staying for a wedding , lovely place to stay , bit pricey just for one night !! Has a jacuzzi bath unfortunate that it didn't work :( Great for popping back into the hotel as you just walk across a small and into the hotel

Booked the Sunday Escape with 3 course meal and breakfast in a courtyard room , food was lovely and great service . Just spent a wonderful weekend with our family seven of us. Really liked the hotel right on the river. The food was delicious,and the bar and restaurant staff were excellent , Very efficient and attentive,could not fault any of them. We had meals two evenings and of course breakfasts. So well done and thanks.

I stayed here with the 'Mytton mini break', and upgraded to a suite. We had a lovely large room which had everything we needed, from an ipod dock, large flatscreen tv, bath robes, and a huge range of tea and coffee in little jars. The only fault with the room was the pressure of the shower which was very weak....

I'm lucky enough to have visited the Myyton & Mermaid on many occasions and it never fails. The service is always impeccable - from reception, the bar staff, the waiting on team - all excellent. Stayed for one night at this hotel and it was first class, all the staff are very friendly and very helpful. My single room was small but very comfortable and warm. Dinner was excellent. Well done to everyone, hope to be back soon

New Year's Eve should have been spent at the Mytton & Mermaid, Atcham. The hotel was contacted to explain my situation. The immediate response was "that no refunds could be given as the food was very expensive" We hadn't asked for a refund, but perhaps the opportunity to attend a different function when I was fully recovered. We had the most amazing day 08/08/15 they could not have after use any better than they did it was perfet from start to finish drinks on the lawn the wedding breakfast, all throughout the day the evening and at breakfast the next nothing was a task to the entire staff they were wonderful
