This charming Beach House has everything to make it a unique, unforgettable holiday. Louka Beach offers three guest rooms to which two affiliated to the pool and overlooking the mighty ocean. The third room, an idyllic cabin literally leans on the beautiful courtyard that is fully colorized by bougainvillea. All rooms have been carefully renovated.
Wonderful experience at Casa Louka. Hans and his team were super helpful, especially taking care of a solo female traveller, ie. Asking the money exchange man to come to the hotel, and asking the security guard to walk me to/from the town at night (for dinner).
The hotel itself is beautiful. The pool is divine and there is even a beautiful soppy dog! Met some other lovely people here. All round great experience, would highly recommend.

Room Tip:Â The local beach is okay but if you walk about 10-15 mins you get to a really beautiful one!

Casa Louka is a small courtyard hotel built around a pleasant pool with a bar. The owners also have another small property by the beach where we ate breakfast (home made jam, fresh baguette, eggs and freshly squeezed orange juice) on a terrace watching the waves. There are also sun beds on a small beach terrace. Hans was very helpful, arranging transport from the airport in the middle of the night and a taxi to take us to our next hotel. The climate in December was ideal. This is a lovely beach area which has not been over developed. You will get approached by locals trying to sell but they are friendly and not too pushy. There are small shops selling artwork nearby. Hans recommended some good local restaurants where the food was tasty and very affordable.

Casa Louka is a small hotel with a great staff. With two locations the property is beautiful and very relaxing. Overall the owners Hans and Tine were very hospitable. Tine cooked a delicious homemade Christmas dinner for us. They also arranged transportation for us and have great restaurant recommendations.

Fabulous place to spend a few days around a pool! Rooms are new and comfortable... and spotlessly clean. Great wifi and tasty breakfast with eggs and fruit. Hans is a fantastic host and was very kind and helpful. All the staff were brilliant! I would definitely return and recommend to anyone.

Small, intimate and perfectly placed, Casa Louka treats guests to simple pleasures, around the clock. There is a fridge to help yourself to endless beverages and all is based on a system of trust. The pool, albeit small, can be a happy alternative to the salty ocean confronting Saly. Everything here takes on a different pace to the fast frenetic speed of the capital city of Dakar.
From the moment I was greeted at the airport to the second I left, Casa Louka met all my expectations. The hotel made the 35-kilometre drive to Saly at 1am from Blaise airport an easy transition to getting settled in Senegal. The breakfast room faces the beach and Hans - the owner - delivers personalised assistance with excursions and advice for making the most out of the country.
I will certainly consider a return visit should I be passing the door. Additionally I highly recommend using Saly as a base for exploring the north and south of the country.

A delightful little place in Saly. A holiday in Senegal is not for the faint hearted. This holiday place is set amid a typical residential area. Residents are locals and there are also many holiday homes of foreigners. Garbage pick up is not existent. Streets are shabby and sandy but hide hidden gems. Just as they do Casa Louka. Clean simple rooms facing a lovely pool area and bar. Breakfast is served at Casa Louka beach, a stroll away where you can also spend the day at the beach. A beach clean up is due here. Lots of plastic. Some proprietors further along have made the effort but stories tell us it is difficult to maintain. Staff here is delightful. As are all people in Senegal. Friendly, chatty and yes, some a bit enforcing to make some money from tourists but they are not to blame. And it's very safe. A stroll after dark is no problem at all. So unreal. Nice Belgium proprietors who will arrange nice outings and suggest good restaurants

The hotel definitely has a character. In a good way. It has 2 buildings - one is right on the beach - this is where you go for breakfast and pool. Another one is a couple blocks away - with the sleeping rooms, a bar and another pool. We actually loved that - a quiet sleep and active days! The owner is a very nice guy who truly cares about his visitors. We enjoyed our conversations about ... everything. His staff was also very nice and helpful.

We stayed for 3 nights in March 2018 and we appreciated very much this beautifully renovated hotel where Tine and Hans makes you feel at home.
The succulent breakfast with freshly squeezed orange juice is served at Louka Beach where you can enjoy the swimming pool and bed-chairs watching the sea.
Tine helped us find a driver for our trip in Senegal and we are coming back with so many great memories thanks to her.
If you want an ambiance more chilled and charming , it is very nice to stay in that part of Saly.
We will come back for sure and highly recommend to stay with them.
