The hotel is located in a beautiful place - on the beach with palm trees. Very beautiful territory - palm trees, baobabs. Green and blooming. Responsive staff - indulged our wishes, changing the rooms to one we liked without extra charge, even though we had booked a lower class room. On the last day, they allowed us to use late check out at 11 p.m. without additional payment, which was very pleasant. The choice of food is not large (especially at breakfast), but enough to always find something tasty. Unlike other AI hotels, the food never ran out even before the end of the meals. The Valentine's Day dinner was especially thought out - both the design and the wide range of dishes. Almost every evening during dinner there was live music. One evening (in 5 days) there was an African show. Beautiful pool, which never lacked sunbeds. Also on the beach there were free sunbeds available at any time. Appropriate glasses for spirits and wine, but cocktails were in cheap random glasses. Negative. The rooms are very very old, worn out. They are in dire need of renovation. There are many plates with chipped edges and dents in the restaurant. There are a lot of plates, they are never lacking, so the chipped plates could be removed from circulation and there would always be enough undamaged plates. Another drawback that can be easily eliminated - in the restaurant, the waiters quickly remove dirty dishes from the tables, but do not clean the tables - they remain crumbly and dirty. This is not a luxury hotel, but if you want to enjoy a simple but good hotel, then this is definitely it!

For many years we have been going to the Royal Saly. Always well received by all the staff and the hotel suits us despite slightly dated rooms that need a good refresh. The “BIG PROBLEM” It’s the entertainment team. They are idle all day. Their only function is to blare their sound system from 9 a.m. to midnight. It is therefore impossible for vacationers wishing to rest to do so. The “Village Chief” spends his time yelling near the bar or gorging himself in the restaurant. He spends his entire meal with the phone to his ear.

A club hotel among others in Saly... very large estate with numerous buildings leading to the restaurant, swimming pool and beach. Lots of requests on the beach. Swimming pool without any particular charm. Large, fairly impersonal rooms (wifi almost non-existent) and without a pleasant view. Buffet restaurant with many dishes but without real authenticity and very noisy. You have to choose this type of hotel knowing what you will find there...many tourists seem very happy and delighted to stay there. But, we were arriving from a very authentic tour through Senegal and it was difficult to find an “inclusive club hotel” atmosphere.

Beautiful place but terrible management, disrespectful security personnel. This hotel has some hidden mafia-like practice of charging 36000 for allowing guests to receive visitors in their rooms. That is in Senegal, a supposed free country. What a shame! Very disappointed.

I was really looking forward to this stay. I booked one off their most expensive rooms. One off the worst experience i have ever had in a hotel room. First they placed me all the way back. Basically not living by the beach at all like promised. The area is so huge. I asked them why, and they could not answer even i get this confirmed in my booking. The room reminded me off an ongoing renovation project. The safe and toilet did not work. The rooms are really filthy, when i lifted some things from the walls their was bird poop behind. Also under the bed so much dirt. I got sick on my second day their. I believe it was because off the food i got on the restaurant or just the fact that it`s so dirty in my room that something happened while staying there.
I understand that in a country where French is the language you cannot expect them to speak anything else. But i kinda do when in comes to a place like this. They dont understand or speak any English. Impossible to communicate. Because they dont wanna try. So for everyone who dont speak French, do not use this hotel.
The only thing that is ok with this place is the actual location. I might have gotten really unlucky with my room. But i doubt since i walked around looking and saw many off the same standard.

A beautiful place that offers complete accommodation. Barely any dining moments for an all-in resort. Only tap water/powdered drinks. And 1 kind of beer. The rest is an extra charge (cans/bottles/coffee) Tables are only cleaned once a day... and there are all kinds of wild cats walking around. Under the buffets there was the same waste for 3 days (probably longer). No entertainment while a lot is promised... also 0 entertainment for the kids. Rooms not clean, door could not be locked, lock fell out. And so many more things. It's a shame because it has everything in it...but nothing is done or maintained with it.

Hotel Royal Saly provided the perfect ending to our tour of Senegal. The grounds are breathtaking, quiet and relaxing. The stay included 3 meals per day, I have never encountered this in any other hotel. The restaurant comes alive at night with music and dancing, love it. Great staff, great service.

I would like to express my disappointment with the service I received during my recent visit to your establishment. Unfortunately, I noticed several aspects that did not meet my expectations as a customer.
First of all, I found that the welcome was not very warm and impersonal (receptionist named Adama). As a receptionist, I expected to be greeted with a smile and a caring attitude, but unfortunately this was not the case.
As a customer, I expect quality service and a pleasant experience, which unfortunately was not the case during my visit. I sincerely hope that these issues will be taken into account and addressed to improve the service Apart from the reception everything was perfect, congratulations to the team

There are more places to choose from in the Saly area.
