I'm currently at the Crowne Plaza Ordos and can say that it's a great 5 star hotel. The hotel is very clean, the staff is very friendly, and the food is amazing. You must try the famous BBQ lamb. I will stay here again when I come back to Ordos. The city is very nice.

We were in town - for the first time - for our son's wedding. While not many of the staff had very good English-speaking skills, all were attentive and helpful, especially Mgr Maggie Zhang (whose English is fine). The hotel and the rooms were clean, comfortable and up to date, and, except for a plugged shower drain which was fixed...

I guess not many people living in this city?? The hotel is dim and quiet.. Its quite scary btw.. The facilities are all closed, dont know if it is permanently... It"s a place to sleep, only sleep. The breakfast is normal, nothing special. It"s clean in the room also.

I stayed in quite few CPs around the world but this one was very disappointing. First the good one: It was clean ! However the rooms need some renovation. They are advertising balcony but what is it worth if you can't open the windows. Also the AC is quite noisy. Breakfast very basic. Smokers around in the lobby. Finally they...

Very nice hotel approx. 30 minutes north of the "Ghost City Ordos" and approx. 1 hour south of the Kubaqi Desert. The hotel has international standard and one of the nicest and kindest staff I ever met on my trips. Some speak English very well and the service is outstanding. They helped us to organize a taxi for the two...

We stayed at the Crowne Plaza for 3 nights in april. The hotel is very well equipped for large conferences or events but is very quiet and empty at other times. It was a bit spooky. We were 2 of only a handful of guests staying at the time. The rooms were very comfortable but a very long and lonely...

This is a good Hotel in Ordos. Staff speaks good English and the restaurants offer diverse Asian cuisines. Each staff member goes the extra mile to cater to your requests and make you stay a very pleasant one. During our stay, Ms. Dolly Hou, took care of every single detail to organise our day tour at Ordos. Ms. Hou's hospitality...

you are in Ordos, a city with no longer a growing economy, and the hotel is already feeling the cost of the years. it is easy to see the hotel was build for a higher usage rate than nowadays, the bars and lounges that were probably busy years ago, now are not working anymore. the rooms are ok, but vey...

I was very impressed with the room. It was clean, roomy, and had nice touches that I, unfortunately, did not have time to use; like the biggest flat screen I've ever seen in a hotel. There's a business desk. There are sofa chairs and a recliner. The bed was very comfortable. I slept well. The bathroom, which is stocked with...

The positives for this place are that it is well located and you can walk to the main street etc, it is clean and reasonably well appointed. The biggest negative was that the rooms were heated like ovens. I and others had to get the hotel to unlock the balcony doors to let in some subzero air. I ended up...
