Residenza Palazzo Visdomini is a gem located in the heart of Pietrasanta. The whole experience of staying there was just wonderful and the number of regular guests who keep returning and whom we have come to know bears testimony to the very high regard which it enjoys from its many loyal patrons.

Our plan was 4 nights in Visdomini and 9 nights elswhere. We changed our plans because Visdomini was so good we just had to come back and spend another 7 nights there. The host Andrea and his staff Lucia and Corinne were so friendly and so willing to accommodate us in so many ways that we will always remember our... More

It feels like coming home. If you want a big non familiar atmosphere in a hotel, where you are just one of 1000, don´t go to Visdomini! This place is just special, with all it´s charm, the nice furniture, the good breakfast, and the personal effort of the manager Andrea. The rooms are beautiful and clean, the breakfast is all... My family have each just so loved Palazzo Visdomini and recently we were lucky enough to spend the most relaxing few days there. As we entered we were greeted by Andrea and immediately we felt we were genuinely welcome .The entrance hall and sitting room ooze that special feel of Old Italy . The garden is a haven of peace... Beautifully restored building where art meets luxury. Andrea is a wonderful host and really made us feel at home. The rooms are big and of a high standard. The garden is a hidden gem - we wish we could have spent hours relaxing there. Nice breakfast. One thing to remember is that the rooms overlooking the garden get a bit... More

A piece of old Italy tucked in a pedestrian area of quaint buildings and churches. Convenient to walk to historic sites, shops, art galleries and restaurants. Our apartment was attractively decorated with Italianate furnishings and art work. The patio area in the rear is landscaped, private and a lovely place for breakfast or a dip in the small pool. Our apartment... More

We have rented all or part of this residenza during several summers over the past 10 years, with family and friend staying. Beautifully restored. Great location for just walking around the town, finding a good place to eat out, cycling to the beach club, come back for a private swim. Quirky, but in a good way - they leave a... More

What a wonderful place! We have recently returned from our stay at Palazzo Visdomini & our holiday couldn't have been better. With just 6 suites, this hotel, the former residence of a noble Florentine family, presents a very personal experience & a real slice of authentic Italy. The Palazzo is beautiful. Antique laden & adorned with contemporary artworks. Our suite... More

Palazzo Visdomini is set right in the historic centre, in the heart of this architectural treasure. It once belonged to a noble Florentine family who turned it into their residence. The property was conceded by the Marquis Ernesto Umberto Dazzini Visdomini and it was transformed for welcoming guests. Pietrasanta has been the cultural capital of Versilia since the times of Michelangelo Buonarroti. “As there are really only about 10 rooms: The top floor apartment is incredibly cool (in the fashion sense) though physically a bit warm in high summer. Above the ground floor all rooms are mini-palace style so you'll do just fine in any of them. No lift, so if you aren't good with stairs maybe stay 1st floor best, but you'd be missing out on the glories of the upper rooms!”
