The staff at this hotel are absolutely lovely and willing to help. My room was off to one side and didn't get the sun. It was therefore cold and damp. It was far away from reception so the wifi was intermittent and there was not wardrobe to hang clothes. Breakfast was decidedly odd although they did dinner one night, which...

Green Haven Hotel was great for our 2 days in Kalaw before treking to Inle Lake. Located about 30 minute walk from city centre, it's the perfect place to unwind and chill out in Kalaw before you trek or arriving from busy Mandalay. Rooms were cosy, but big enough for what you need. Staff were super attentive and had whatever...

The hotel does seem to belong in the Alps although given the fact that the windows and door were not airtight, any snow or cold temperatures would be akin to staying in a fridge. Nevertheless, the room was comfortable, great breakfast made to order rather than the standard buffet, friendly staff (commensurate with all the other places I stayed in...

Stayed at this hotel as part of an Explore Holiday booking. First appearances are that this is a lovely hotel. It is attractive to look at and staff are very attentive and helpful. However the rooms are small and have no wardrobe/storage space whatsoever. They are also unheated and in January it is very cold at night here - about...

A very nice hotel with friendly staff. We came very early (6 am) and was well taken care of until we could check in. The hotel is a bit outside town, which is very nice and since they have bikes for free lending it is very convenient. You bike into town in five minutes. Comfortable beds and Beautiful bungalow. The...

My room had a sticky floor, with dust and debris in corners. Stained bed sheet. Non functioning TV, malfunctioning main light. Front door lock a problematic - 3times staff had to come and wrestle with it to gain entry. Window locks not secure. Bathroom: floor permanently wet due to leaking water hose beside toilet and leak through ceiling from bathroom...

A quaint hotel, the interiors reminded me of a swiss chalet in the mountains, it was a lovely room. we were only there one night before we set off on a trek, I wish we'd had longer. A little far out of the main town they lent us bikes with no charge to get too and fro. Another excellent hearty...

Looks more like a Challet, very pretty with decor and lots of plants and trees. Staff made us feel very welcome, and we were offered an orange juice on arrival. rooms are very basic, but that's what we expected . At least showers were very hot, and large bed, mattresses are hard, but never stopped us getting a good nights...

I feel sorry for the extremely friendly staff, but this hotel disappointed me. The villas in the garden look nice from the outside, but inside it's a kind of mess, our toilet was broken, so was the tv, I found a cockroach as big as a small mouse in the shower...... In Kalaw itself is nothing to do if you...

So far, best hotel we stayed. Staff verrrry nice, room are clean and nice, the breakfast is huge. The all hotel look likes a chalet and there is a good atmosphere. It s a bit out of the city but it s better when you know how city center can be loud !
