This was our first visit to Flear Farm, but is unlikely to be the last. We stayed in Orchard Lodge for one week for October half term and had a fantastic time.

This was our first visit to Flear in ten years. We were regulars when our children were young but his time returned with an elderly parent and dog! It was still as beautiful as ever - in fact even nicer. The new owners have gone above and beyond to make this a fabulous holiday re

Thank you for your warm review, it's very rewarding for us when families come here (even come back here!) and tell us they have a super time. We put our hearts into making an already very special place into a wonderful place to have a holiday, it's what we do and we love it too! Best wishes to you all. Barney, Camilla, and the boys.

We came with family and we stayed in the Granary. It was spacious, well equipped and clean. The pool was large and warm... we had it to ourselves most days. The kids loved the rope swing by the wild wood, the tennis and the play barn. The owners have thought of nearly everyth

We booked this for four adults and two children, and the cottage we hired was just right. The farm has a few animals, a great pool and hottub, and a lovely big playbarn with things for all generations.... There is also a small three hole pitch and put, and again you don't have to

Is there any sight seeing places to go visit near by as well as any shops/restaurants?
Yes - but get ready for lots of very narrow lanes!

Is there a country pub in easy walking distance?
I would say the Fortescue Arms is certainly within walking distance... The lane is big enough for tractors and cars so walking would not be too difficult. Devon is famously hilly, so there is that to factor in, but it's not unwalkable. And it's a nice pub...
