Atmosphere of Dok Champa guest house was good with with river side at the first sight. I liked their sitting area on each room and river view of restaurant even food was not OK for me(This is my personal view so..). My room was next to the owner lady's room. The room door was hard to open and lock. In...

The best thing about this place is the small balcony overlooking the Mekong - complete with hammock, daubed and table. Very relaxing. The bed is basic but comfortable. A bonus. The bad things. The tap over the sink in the bathroom was leaking so badly the floor was always wet. When we finally found the owner, he played around with...

I can really only repeat what other reviewers have said about this place - the room was ok, basic but good for a night with a double bed and toilet in one corner and shower in the other (they were both in stalls, not right in the middle of the room!). It was clean and they let me drop my...

The place its ok for one night. We are doing a cycling trip and champasak was one of our stop for the night. The room was clean, hot shower, the location its good next to the river. We didn't eat at the restaurant, so I can not tell about the food. Cheers.

The other reviews are very accurate. The new room with A/C was very comfortable and clean for 100,000 Kip. The service from the teenage staff was non existent. In the three days we stayed at the guest house we had a few requests, such a fresh towels, toilet paper, etc. All the requests were required the staff to take their...

The hotel is located on the river and has a friendly host and a reasonable restaurant on the Mekong. Rooms are good value with aircon and fan and ensuite toilet and shower. The cabins come with a veranda. We looked at several places in champasak and this was the best value.

We walked through all Champasak to find a guesthouse, and eventually returned to this one as the more exprnsive (100k) rooms with aircon seemed nice. At first the room looked nice and clean and even felt new. the room is quite originally organized with the toilet in one corner and the shower in the other, and the bed in the...

The toilet and shower were at the back of the room BUT had glass walls. Clean, ace aircon. Bed in the middle of the room. Very quiet when we were in the room but they were doing DIY as it was the wet season, so there was a power plane in the day. Bar/restaurant had an excellent view. The food...

This is the first place we stumbled upon when the tuk tuk from Paksé dropped us off here. We walked in for breakfast and had our sites on a fancy hotel (the one with a swimming pool) in town. People are friendly, and the owner speaks fluent French. He offered 2 types of rooms. The very cheap ones had wood...

Having seen most of the guesthouses in Champasak I thought this was a good choice. We paid 100,000 kip including breakfast for one of the new rooms. The location is good and the room seemed fairly clean, although the linen looked a bit suspicious. The owners are nice and speak good English, and they were quick in fixing problems (such...
