We had a river view room which was perfect for hanging out on the deck. Room was clean, airconditioned and big. The staff were friendly. Free parking for bikes.
Try the restaurant next door for some great Thai food.
Room was lovely and very clean. The staff/owners were warm and nice. Cold in the morning but hot shower. The view is spectacular!!! Must visit if on your way to Laos. The owner organised our transfer to Laos as well.
A wonderful location on the banks of the Mekong. Clean, quiet, good sized rooms. Pleasant staff. Great local restaurants and bars. A fantastic place to stay before the slow boat to Luang Prabang! Hotel will arrange your transfer to Laos.
This is a basic and comfortable place with a view over the river. No restaurant but walk along the river for plenty of choices. The in room shower water heater provides luke warm water as do most of this design. Breakfast is extra and comes...More
visited chiangkong many times and stayed at many places but this is best by far.good very clean rooms with good shower and decent bed linen and the owner went to uni in New Zealand and speaks good English,don't go anywhere else now
