This resort is run by thai family. I found it on many magazine in Thailand. The service still look like homestay. The way to our room has a stunning view, but it came with the hardships to go there. Very hight and long stair made us very tired. The best part is the room which a nice view. You can... More

I have never stayed here but I make a point of eating here whenever I am in the area. Fabulous, authentic and refined Thai food with many ingredients coming from the vegetable gardens around the restaurant. Interesting menu. If the weather is fine, you have wonderful views across to Laos across the Mekong River from the outside terrace. Well worth... More

As all the other reviewers say, this is a magical place. The hotel is by the Mekong River and you can see Laos on the other side. We loved how beautiful the river is in this part, with majestic mountains and how there is nothing but the hotel and gorgeous nature. The huts are on top of the hill mainly... More

This was one of the most special and most breathtaking places I've ever stayed. Awesome little huts up in the hills of Thailand! A nice balcony to look out and the shower is on an outside portion of the room. So you get to look up and see a beautiful sky and some trees. Still very private. Keep in mind,... More

I stayed at Saeng Arun house (S1), the hidden little house on the hill. You'll feel stronger if you reached there cause it's quite far from the lobby which closes to Kong river. Don't sleep too tight cause you gonna miss the most beautiful view from the room. Should wake up in the morning around 7:30 am, you will see... More

We stayed one night in Chiang Khong in order to catch a cruise down the Mekong the next morning. What an amazing spot. Views from every direction: The river and the Lao hillside. The rice fields. Their vegetable garden. The mist rising off the mountains. WOW! Dinner was also delicious. Please stay here and be prepared to be blown away.... More

Fantastic views from a very comfortable bungalow. Incredibly tasty food served at all meals, most food grown on site. This place is an absolute gem,and was definitely a great place to relax for a few days. The friendly owner and his local staff are most helpful, and doa great job.
