Its really a good hotel located just besides the fort of gulbarga, it comes to life during the dark when its pretty colourful lights kick on. This adds an extra charm to the facade of hotel, nice variety of indian foods are available.

Rooms are clean but Taps in Bathroom are leaking. The telephone was also not working. Also the cable TV had a problem. Service was excellent. Also location is in city in front of Bus Stand makes it very noisy place.

Photos are self-explanatory...Room allotted did not match advertised photo. Room was dirty with empty liquor bottles and glasses from previous user. Unhygienic Bathroom, Chairs, etc. A nightmare.
They openly cheat. Don't enter this place.

The best way to put it is, i didnt have a great feeling right from when we were close to it. The hotel is purely fitness for purpose, extremely basic, and so is the food. I don't know whether or not there are any better options in Gulbarga. It will work for you if all you need the hotel for is a shower and some sleep, but that's it.

Heritage Inn is built in the narrow strip of land between the Gulberga Fort and the road,and behind the hotel is the Fort. Hotel is apprx 3 km from Gulberga railway station and near to city Bus stand. Though hotel looks attractive in elevation, rooms seemed slightly old and was not comparable with professional hotels. Room size was just okay, the overall cleanliness in the room need to be improved. AC was working fine. During my stay, I found fewer guests in this hotel. The restaurant reminded me about old fashioned eateries, complementary break fast was available, I have not tried,
Dinner was served to our room and was tasted okay. The water in the trench surrounding the fort is a breeding ground for mosquitoes but the hotel management has adequately shielded your room windows and other openings using mosquito net. They have also plugged in liquid mosquito repellents in rooms, I never had mosquito bite issue in the room. I selected this hotel as it was the closest one near railway station.
There is nothing special about this hotel. I rate this an ABOVE AVERAGE hotel close to Fort and Gulberga railway station

I traveled to Gulbarga during Jan 2014. It was a Average hotel. Breakfast has only 2 variants and that too in Thermo coal plates and disposable cups. not really tasty. stay is o.k No hot water evenings.

It was just Ok. In rooms you will get dampness smell. Blankets are not that much clean. As per hotel policy they will provide complementary break fast. But they will provide only one it item. It is really ridicules. They are charging good amount for room. At least they should provide 4 to 5 items like serials, egg omelt or any other.

The hotel is right next to the Gulbarga Fort and the City Bus stand. The Lake is not too far away either.
I booked the hotel over a telephone call and the staff was pretty good with giving me details, directions and also ensuring I get a good room. I stayed here for two nights.
The room with A/C was big enough, clean enough. Rest room was alright and I did get hot water. Wifi worked sometimes. Power went off frequently but they do have a backup generator.
Their restaurant does have some really good food and I loved it. That is surely a major Plus going for this hotel. I never bothered dining in there (I ordered room service) so, I can;t tell you about the ambiance etc.. They are open until 11PM which was a good thing for me.
My room was on the ground floor and there was a lot of noise late in the night outside my window.. Not sure what was it all about and it didn't bother me much.. You might want to get a room upstairs.
The only blot was one of the reception staff. That guy was lazy, indifferent and just didn't care. His answer to most of my queries was "I don't know, I have no idea.. why don;t you go outside and ask someone on the street etc".. But rest of the staff tried their best to make your stay comfortable.
I don't think I will have any reason to go back to Gulbarga: if I do, I wouldn't mind staying here.
