I stayed here after a gap of 22 years; and was happy to see them maintain their standards. It is budget hotel with all basic comforts- but nothing more. Clean, hygienic rooms & linen. Excellent accessibility; parking available; They don't provide breakfast but has a basic restaurant in the compound. Good, dependable staff with long service. Old and good lodge-style hotel.

The main advantage of this hotel is its location. Though situated on the main road, the building is designed in such a way that very little outside sound comes into the rooms. I stayed in an AC deluxe room. Both the room and the attached bathroom were quite spacious. I did not face any issues with electricity or water. The ac worked fine; however, the tv and remote were quite old and half the channels were blurry. The towels and linen were clean enough.

Gulbarga is busy, hot and not very clean. Pariwar is centrally located and has reasonably clean rooms. Room service is OK. For Gulbarga standards it is good. Do not stay in a non AC room even if it is the coldest day of the year because of mosquito. Be very careful about water. It is close to all amenities you get at Gulbarga.

we stayed for a day on 13 apr 12 because couldn't find a room at hotel aditya. receptionist was taciturn, unsmiling as if doing a favor. disinclined to discuss available options. room was ok but smallish. power back-up was quite delayed (~10 min). room service below average. did the mistake of ordering tea - was rs 14/- a cup, whereas it cost rs 8 in the restaurant downstairs. being peak summer, drinking water requirement was constant. there was only a small flask in the room for the 3 persons of our family. asking for replenishment was a task and a tip was expected every time. while checking out we needed extra water for our road journey but cool water was not given in spite of a request. overall, avoid.

Booked a room here after getting some local inputs on it. It's one of the oldest hotels in gulbarga with a descent good name. Located on the main city trunk road with most of the places in vicinity. The rooms are compact and definitely my room was quite dusty ppt allergic rhinitis to me. (Albeit it was told as one of the cleanest hotels in gulbarga). No bathroom toiletries provided.

I prefer stay in Pariwar hotel whenever I used to go Gulbarga. At the terrif they offer you can get very specious, clean and nice rooms. Room service is quite good. And also have parking space for guests. There is one small restaurant outside the hotel which offer delicious breakfast at a very cheap rates. Once you stay here you will not require to search for any other hotels.

The hotel is good ambience. The rooms are neat though small. The restaurent serves tasty food. There is no complimentary breakfast served here. It is in the main road and enough parking space is available.

17-18 November, 2017.
My host at Gulbarga (Kalaburagi) ended up booking a new place
for my accommodation each time I visited the city! Each of the
places has been quite central: Ashraya Comforts in Dec'13, Hotel
Udyan in Oct'14, and this time, it was almost going to be the
first one again, till I was informed after I reached the city,
that it would be Hotel Pariwar. The place has been drastically
renovated, at least the front facade, which looks very nice. I
was put up in the first floor. This is possibly an old property
that has been renovated, since many of the items in the room (the
furniture and fittings for instance), look quite old. The old looks need
not imply anything negative, since the place was neat and clean:
basically, what I wanted, and comfortable. Yes, I was put up in
an air-conditioned room with single occupancy (a
non-air-conditioned room was not available, one that I had
initially wanted to opt for). I was in room 311 on the first
floor: there is no correlation of the room number with the floor:
a bit of a surprise for me. The first floor had at least two
staircases from the ground floor: a main staircase from beside
the reception area, and another right in the middle of the corridor.
The well-lit corridor had frosted glass windows, which let in a
good amount of light in the daytime, which was welcoming. The
rhombus patterned black-and-white floor looked neat.
The hotel had four floors from what I could see, with a nice
facade, and an old fountain in front of a small but impressive
restaurant named `Hotel Kamakshi'. I had an option of ordering
food right into my room, but I wanted to savour the experience,
and hence, went down for breakfast there, the next day.
Coming back to the room, the Air-conditioning was effective. The
room had numerous electrical outlets, a bathroom-cum-toilet with
an effective hot water geyser, a sunk part adjacent to the
bathroom for a storage area, a small table, a wall-mounted
flat-screen TV set, a small but comfortable bed with a blanket, a
small table beside the bed with a intercom, old fittings on the
walls, a dressing table area with a mirror on the wall. A towel
with the name of the hotel on it was kept ready. The bathroom had
some old fittings, but was neat and clean, with enough lighting,
simple tiles on the walls, and brownish ones on the floor. There
was a small table-and-chair setting next to one of the two windows,
which looked down to the backside of the Kamakshi restaurant. The floor had
black and grey tiles, in a square pattern, as opposed to the
rhombus pattern outside. Overall, I had a comfortable stay at this hotel!
