Well, what an amazing week we've just had! Ancarraig Lodges is a gem of a spot: nestled in the hills above Loch Ness. Rose and James were great hosts - they were extremely responsive to our messages and made us very welcome when we arrived on site. The lodge was really clean and immaculately presented. It had everything you need...

We were looking for reasonably priced cottages near Loch Ness and Ancarraig fit the bill. You do need a car though (which we had) since the cottages are a short drive from Loch Ness. The cottages were self contained and spacious for our family of 4.

Our lodge had everything we needed, very clean and cosy with a great kitchen and a powerful shower. The log burner was fab and kept us warm through out the day and the heat lasted through most of the night. There was a nice pub about 10 min drive down the hill which did food and a decent selection of...

Lodge was set in the most amazing setting up in the mountains. Very well equipped ,modern and clean. Lots of lovely touches such as hotwater bottles laid out on bed and the heater put on in bedroom ready for us arriving and the birthday card waiting for my husband.Very good welcome booklet introducing us to the area and check in/out...

We booked 3 lodges for a family New Year getaway. The lodges are fantastic. Decor to a very high standard, kitchen very well equipped and lovely and cosy. We even had a real Christmas tree in each lodge, nice touch. The site is a great place to relax even though it appeared that all the lodges were occupied. Simon was...

Stayed here for 2 nights and arrived late on a very cold and windy night. Had arranged to have logs delivered to the lodge and they were there waiting for us. The log burner is lovely and very cosy once it's up and going. Please get more than one starter log as it's impossible to keep going through the night...

Words cannot describe how lovely this place is.... but I'll try! My girlfriend and I and a group of 4 couples decided to book these lodges as a birthday surprise for one of our friends and I'm so glad we did. Right from the off the couple that ran the place - Rose and James were so helpful in the...

Just back from our weekend away here. It was a beautiful lodge in a lovely part of Scotland. I would suggest if visiting in the winter to take extra cosy clothes as the log burner is the main source of heating. We were provided with 2 plug in radiators but they only take the chill off the air. They had...
