Lovingly cared for with beautifully prepared organic food, this is a comfortable and relaxing home with a warm welcome and fun conversation. Set in the countryside in the midst of a stone circle, there are lovely walks .

A cosy cottage with a small bedroom but very comfy bed and a large sitting room cum dining room where one is made so welcome by Christiane and Pierre, to the extent that they invite you to chat and exchange experiences with them if you wish. They are knowledgable and helpful about the local area. Food is, as they say,...

Excellent stay to Shenval thanks to the warm welcome of Christiane and Pierre who, besides preparing delicious and copious breakfasts, take time to give a lot of informations on the region which they know very well.

Christiane and Pierre are wonderful, generous and extremely helpful hosts. Delicious Scottish breakfasts with a French touch, comfortable rooms and peaceful environment. Close to great cafes in Drumnadrochit. Excellent value for money.

Pierre and Christiane are the warmest and most welcoming hosts, and so genuine. It was a real pleasure getting to know them and to sit with them over dinner - what a wonderful and inspiring conversation. They may be French, but their knowledge of the area is as good as if they were "natives". We stayed in the ground floor...

We have just returned from our 10th visit to the Shenval B&B. As always, Christiane and Pierre made us very welcome in their cosy, comfortable home which is a haven of peace and quiet. Breakfasts are substantial with home-made bread and jams and other organic produce. Dinners are available if booked in advance and are also excellent. As usual we...

We arrived as strangers and came away having made some good friends. Christiane and Pierre have a vast knowledge of the Glen Urquhart and Glen Affric area, which is one of the most beautiful parts of the Highlands. They even took us to a concert in Inverness. The accommodation was cosy and comfortable and we were made to feel very...

This was a lovely place to stay, very quiet, yet within easy reach of lots of great places to visit. We stopped over on our way to the Isle of Skye, and could easily have stayed longer. The B&B is very comfortable and the breakfast was delicious, with so much home-grown and organic produce. We especially liked Christiane's fruit compote...

We stayed with Pierre and Christine for 4 nights and our only complaint was that we were so busy that we didn´t really get very much time to chat with them. From the delicious, plentiful, home cooked breakfasts to advice on the best swimming spots and hiking routes they went out of their way to make sure our trip was...
