I've been a guest at Posada Pablo De Tarso three times over the past eight years. The property is consistently good; well-maintained, clean, with beautiful gardens and pool. People stay at this posada year after year, with good reason. Melaque is a sweet little town with a spectacular beach, many fine restaurants (I'd especially recommend the newly opened (?) "Maria",...

This is the second time we have stayed here; both times the service was exceptional. Since our Spanish is poor, it was a real help to have English-speaking staff at the hotel. But even more important than that, everyone we met was so helpful, so professional and seemed really caring. Our room was spotlessly clean, bright, nicely decorated and came...

We stayed off season, but there are lots of long term residents already here for the winter in the 2bedroom suites, which are very nicely equipped and spacious. The regular rooms are very nicely equipped as well, and roomy, with good wifi, and cable with only a couple of english channels. Two queen beds are comfy, and it is real...

We stayed here for a month and it was fantastic right on the beach, very friendly owners and a beautiful pool. We would definitely stay here again. Some units have kitchens. It is centrally located in downtown Melaque, and on the part of the beach where the waves can be a little rough. It is easy to walk anywhere.

This hotel is excellent and reasonable...but be careful going to Melaque with no pesos or to any community with only Banamex as a bank and no cash in hand...All Banamex ATM's in the Mexico no longer accept Canadian bank cards chipped or otherwise. Banamex is the only bank with a ATM (cajero) in Melaque and it will not accept any...

We arrived in Barra de Navidad while on a road trip down the Pacific coast of Mexico and were extremely disappointed to find very few accommodation options -- either run down, viewless, old hotels in the middle of town or the $300+ a night uber resort on the isla. So we decided to try our luck in the neighboring town...

We were greeted by Pablo the wonderful young and charming manager of this beachside hotel. The rooms were interesting in design, comfort and exceptionally clean. You could also rent " bungalows " by the night which had a kitchenette and living room space. Nice local restaurants nearby. Great for couples, families or retires looking for a place for longer term...
