Excellent property just next to beach. Rooms are basic but location and hospitality is top notch. They also arrange candle light dinner on the beach. Staff is extremely helpful and always ready to help. Food is good though breakfast can be improved. Beach is quite clean as you would expect in Morgim.
The location of this resort is bang on the beach, with fantastic views of the beach and sunsets. It is a family run business and they take a lot of care. Their service and sincerity is par excellence. The food is also good - especially the fish recipes which they prepare with the fresh catch of the day, since they have a fishing business also. All in all a good experience
I had the opportunity to stay at the Goan Cafe and Resort in Goa for 2 weeks and I thoroughly enjoyed the hospitality of this family run business. Tourists are extended the Goan hospitality, warmth and kindness. I highly recommend this resort in Goa on a very quiet and peaceful beach.
If you are going to stay at this resort try living for one day at the beach facing tree house. The balcony direct opens towards the beach. I wanted to stay in goa on some beach facing resort and this was totally what i had dreamt of. Waking up in the morning to a view of oceans while sleeping you can count the stars can only be felt as bliss. May be this hotel is eco-friendly so you have to fill your own water bottle . They wont service you every day with complimentray water bottles. Also everything else is just okayish. I didnt mind it. Because I can have simple food but in the evening i wanna lie down in private shacks at the beach and want to sleep hearing the lullaby of sea waves
Road to the hotel is very narrow one car at a time but hotel has sign boards from main road and also GPS locates it correctly. They have around 4 a.c. wooden cottages. Some basic huts. And some tree houses. Only 1 tree house facing the beach. We paid Rs 1400 inclusive of breakfast for 1 night. For breakfast they have egg burji, puri bhaji , boiled eggs, cut fruits , fresh juice, tea and coffee. They also have 1 restaurant and 1 sea facing cafe. Room is basic with no amenities. But what can we expect at this price. Lot many shacks on the beach. Good foreign crowd and less of Indian crowd. Drawbacks and tips to readers : 1. Lot of power fluctuations so at times you might have to stay without electricity for long. Tho they have generator back up. But at night no staff to switch it on. So do carry a small torch. 2. There are no additional facilities in room like tea coffee maker , mini fridge , locker etc 3. Lot of mosquitos so carry mosquito repellent 4. No toiletries so carry your own. 5. From main road to hotel road turns secluded with very less street lights available at night so be inside property at night. 6. Most of the shacks shuts by 10.30 to max 11 pm so fill up your stomachs on time.…
We booked a tree house for 6 nights. It was very rustic but just what we needed. The staff were very friendly, always smiling and helpful and the food was delicious! I will advise not to take tree house over the New Year period as the music can get quite loud and play until the early hours. We had a great stay. Morjim beach is one of the quieter beaches and the sunsets are incredible!! Thank you for a great stay!
Went to the Goan cafe and resort, with my partner had a two bedroom apartment which was very clean and comfortable with air con ,they where upgrading the electric supply in the area while I was there. Owners and staff at the Goan cafe were very friendly and welcoming and very attentive if any staff walked past my room they would always acknowledge me with a hello everything ok?. The place is kept very clean and the main restaurant serves a good menu also they have a beach bar where you can order anything from the main menu and have it there which was my favourite place to eat the delicious food they served, the view from there was amazing looking out over the Indian Ocean would definitely be going back next year.
Been coming to the Goan cafe and resort for 21 years many things have changed in that time Goa has changed in that time. but a visit to the Goan cafe n resort is like coming home, the best food, service, hospitality and company can always be found hear, any one considering a trip to Goa must have a sense of patience as it often has power outages that are way beyond the control of the owners but these guys are one step ahead of the others locally as they have their own generator. The food is amazing and and they fish daily, all the food is fresh daily and prepared by the two very experienced chefs. Reception captain is always on hand and nothing is ever to much trouble for VJ weather it arranging scooter hire or getting your room cleaned he's on it. On this visit the owners had invested in a new beach side juice bar and Resturant with uninterrupted views of the sea which are amazing. All in all a tranquil and restful holiday awaits you at the Goan cafe n resort I be going agin this year and again at Easter see you all there ⛱💯…
I went in december 2016 to celebrate my marriage anniversary, i took a tree house, the place is bit far from airport, but resort is located in front of the beach less than a min to walk to beach, staff is very friendly, food is very good i enjoyed it, would definetly would be going back to this place
My husband and I went there twice, the first time in 2015 and all was good enough, it is a beautiful place, with nice cottages, few steps by the beach, but not so accurate in the service and the food is in the average. We decided to come back this year and we booked a specific room for 10 days (the one we stayed) for the first three days this wasn't available so we asked for another one with the use of the kitchen and they sayd there were no problem but when we arrive there was no kitchen in the available room and no fridge so we had to store our food in the heat for three days. Then we were very upset when they told us the room we booked wasn't available anymore because the guests already there extended their stay.. That is not professional. Those nights we also had to listen our drunk neighbours shouting and laughing all night long so that we couldnt sleep and when we complained about it with the staff, they didnt even try to speak with their noisy impolite guests. We finally had to leave the place and look for another place in the middle of the high season, wasting half day of our holiday time. This place has a great potential but they have to learn to work professionally, they almost ruined our holiday!…
