First visit and amazed to find such a sumptious rectory with no church. It was only exploring the village the following day I found the ancient church, hidden in the valley falling down to the village - a church built to serve one of the biggest diocese in Britain and complete with its antiquarian leper hole. Great place very friendly people. The room was excellent beautiful four poster bed so comfortable. The breakfast was the biggest and best I've had and I've been all round Europe. Will definitely be going back

Our 3rd stay here and was amazing as always. Love the place, tried a different room each time, all stunning. Fantastic staff and breakfast. We will return again soon and highly recommend to all. The double jacuzzi baths are fab and so relaxing x

I booked this hotel as a last minute treat for my husband's birthday and what a treat it was. What a wonderful,clean,fresh and welcoming place this is to stay. Our room was absolutley wonderful and the jacuzzi topped it off even better. The room was so clean even the towels smelt of fresh fabric conditioner which we have never experienced...

Difficult to add anything new to an impressive list of previous reviews but the following stood out from our visit as a couple, which included Valentines Day. We stayed in the Ludlow room and the double Jacuzzi bath is amazing! The breakfast was tremendous and we did not eat properly until the evening but snacked in between on the box...

Lovely place really nice rooms and the biggest breakfast I've ever seen Really friendly staff and host Recommend this place We booked the room with the juccuzi really nice The only down side was there's no evening meals available had to go out too eat

I booked this as a night away for my partners birthday, based on previous reviews. It lived up to those reviews. We has room 4 on 1st floor; large room with 4 poster, sofa and shower.
