We spent an afternoon, evening plus stayed overnight at the Sea Trout Inn. Spent a Saturday evening dining here based on some of the other reviews. The menu selection was ok and the food was all very fresh and very enjoyable. Very friendly staff, relaxed chilled atmosphere, amazing food, extremely clean with the most comfortable bed I have ever slept in. We have been twice so far and will definitely be going back again and again. I would highly recommend.

We had dinner here and were very disappointed slow service took about 30 min for food to arrive. The food was not good at all well below average very surprised it was so poor with so many good reviews!

spent two nights enjoying bed breakfast and evening dinner. Choice of food was sufficient and came promptly. The quality was excellent along with a good selection of wines. The room was very comfortable

Stayed 2 nights when doing a craft fair at Dartington Hall. Warm welcome great food, comfortable room. Will definitely go back for a more leisurely stay. Great place to just relax, go fishing on the river Dart, try out the steam railway at Buckfastleigh.

My room was lovely all set up to receive with myself and my dog. Travelling for work. Very welcoming staff. Definitely stay again. Beautiful location. Good food. As a single female I felt very at ease.
