My family and I had booked our stay in Maple Ivy, Alibaug. The hotel was mostly empty and it was indeed a pleasant stay with a courteous staff. The rooms were quite spacious and comfortable. But the walls of one of the rooms was chipping and it wasn’t what I had expected. The bathroom was clean and was provided with basic amenities. The food in the restaurant was quite delicious but it was a little steep price wise. I would rate 4 out of 5 for Maple Ivy.
We came for marriage function for our close friend we have enjoyed a lot Mr Hemang, Chef Salunke, Abhijeet, & all staff. But not forget to IT Manager Ajit Kale being at IT manager he is getting our luggage pick & drop in room. But only problem is Mr Harish duty manager very rudely talking to our guest. The Management had to train him how to behave with guest. We will come back with family again to Radisson Alibaug again.
Visited in March end with family. The room was supposed to be a deluxe room but was in very bad shape. The bathroom roof was leaking and they had to shift us to the suite room after insisting. The rooms are not well maintained for the price they are charging. The breakfast buffet was ok ok. The hotel does not offer any views and is located in a small alley having no parking. The only plus point was that the staff was very courteous and polite.
We just planned a trip for a day booked this hotel room through the website. Online rates are cheaper and those only are worth paying. Rooms were clean. Hotel Location is Perfect for travelers (neither completely in city, nor outskirts). Service was a the one point we had some concerns about. Team is not responsive with little laid back attitude even during the weekday stay. Hope them improve on the same.
I got a great deal online and booked it. It is a very popular hotel in Alibaug, all auto drivers know this hotel. It is around 3 km away from Versoli and Alibaug beaches. Main market is at walking distance of around 0.5 kms. Hotel looks classy from outside as well as inside. They have an indoor swimming pool, a spa and a small garden with slides, swings, see- saw etc. Room is really comfortable and spacious with all required facilities. Service is quick. Food is delicious and the portion size is very good. Buffet Breakfast has good food options. RT beer and wine shop which is 1 km from the hotel provides so many options and verities of wine and beer. Also saffron restaurant of maple ivy is popular in town. All in all this is a highly recommended hotel.
As we were planning for a new year get away, Alibaug seemed the perfect location. We booked the hotel directly and got great offer from the hotel. Hotel is near the city centre and is at a small detour to main road but easily accessible. Hotel check-in was very easy. Hotel followed all the COVID-19 procedures including Thermal Screening and checking our vaccination certificates & RT-PCR reports. We were given an upgrade of rooms courtesy the Hotel which was a pleasant surprise. Rooms are big and very clean. Toilets were also very well maintained. Hotel has a working pool which was fun for kids. Pool was clean & nice. The restaurant in the hotel was good, however the service was little slow. Food was also delicious but can have much better spread of Veg & Non-Veg food options as Breakfast and Dinner Buffet. Hotel don't have a travel desk but can connect with some travel agents who can arrange for the vehicle. Places to visit include Alibaug beach, Murud-Janjira Fort, Murud Beach, Khashid Beach. Last 2 beaches in particular are very clean and magnificent. Overall, an excellent stay in the hotel. …
I had recently visited Alibaug & stayed for 2 days in Ivy Maple Hotel with family. Staff is very helpful & cooperative .Rooms are clean & neat & with required things like Soaps/Shampoo/Tooth brush & paste. Complimentary breakfast was good but absence of fruits & bakery products except bread . Restaurant is good , for Buffet dinner should have some more items like in main course should have two vegetable & non veg & in deserts pastry/cake & ice cream as per the cost charged also separately ordered dishes are with less quantity , we ordered sizzling brawny desert which was not at par with cost . Also suggestion for indoor games for children's to be added . Overall it was very good experience .
Maple Ivy turned out to be a surprisingly well appointed boutique hotel in Alibaug! Very courteous staff, lovely ambience, super pool, the rooms were really well appointed with all the necessary amenities like tea and coffee maker, rain shower in the bathroom, toothpaste, shampoos, soaps provided, the beds were absolutely gorgeous and comfortable and totally international, the rooms are tastefully appointed and elegant, care has been taken at every nook and cranny. Their restaurant Saffron has some very enjoyable cuisine at affordable prices, do try the club sandwiches, the chinese food and offcourse, I am sure the other cuisine on offer must be really good too! The buffet breakfast included with the room rate also had some great selection of items and had eggs of any kind on order at no extra charge which was delightful. An all in all wonderful experience. The hotel is well placed in a quiet little nook but easily accessible and getting to places for easy. Just 20 mins from Mandwa Jetty.…
It's a good property located in the main alibaug city. Positive points: Breakfast spread, Service, staff Points to improve: Veg options & quality in lunch, more indoor sports such as TT Overall a great stay. Recommended
I stayed at this hotel last weekend. I had booked a non refundable room rate through booking.com. The hotel looks good from outside but the rooms are very ordinary and definitely not a 4 star property. The staff at the reception and restaurant has not been trained well by their management. There was an 1 plus 1 offer on beer and when the bill was presented to us, the staff added both the amounts and presented the bill to us without telling us in advance that the offer was only on certain brand of beer. Next morning, at breakfast, when i picked up 2 apples from the fruit tray for a breakfast that i have paid for and is included along with room tarriff, the staff comes to me and says it is not allowed. I am not sure why the staff has not been trained to understand that if a guest has paid for breakfast, they cannot come to the guest and say it is not allowed. No training at all imparted to the young staff who dont seem to have a clue about hospitality. On checking out, the hotel first informed me that the room tarriff has been paid since the room was non refundable so supposed to be charged in advance and when i believed them and left for mumbai, i get atleast 10 calls saying they have forgotten to charge me for the room bill. The whole experience was draining. I would not recommend staying at this hotel…
