They say marriages are made in heaven. But what if you know that how this heaven looks like. You guessed it correct. I am talking about this property called THE MANSION HOUSE, which is in Alibaug. A perfectly situated property in the midst of villages and a true heaven for destination weddings. This property is equivalent to all the 5 star hotels. Specially the guest service. I have alot of respect for Mr. Sachin. He is the manager of the property. The synchronized coordination he has with his staff is simply outstanding. The ambience of this property is wonderful. Far away from city. You feel like staying here for a longer period of time. The rooms are huge.. Well equipped with all the necessary amenities. Special thanks to mr. Sachin for making us feel special and giving us value for money. We all loved the Baskin Robins ice-cream which was free to consume any time of the day. I had visited alibaug many times but this Time was something spl for me this place is like hevean enjoyed a lot no need to go out if you are here such beautiful place room service is awesome food is delicious and the staffs very friendly very nice it will be lifetime memorable experience for us will be back soon......

Super Place to Visit. Near to Mumbai no traffic, no pollution. Friendly, Warm Staff. We will visit again and again. 5 Star facilitate along with exotic food. Huge Swimming pool. Relaxing venue with indoor games.

This place deserves a standing ovation for its staff, it's food and most importantly it's beauty. Ideal for a group. You can chill by the pool, since ours was a pool party,we were in the pool throughout the day! Food and catering services are top notch. Give it a shot when you're in Alibaug next. Excellent amenities & food. The rooms were very comfortable & clean. The breakfast was terrific & so was the pool side brunch. We had a wonderful sundowner at the terrace restaurant. Overall we recommend to all families

Mansion House looks great on their website. The reality is different. This could have been a true gem, but poor attention to detail in the finish of the hotel and iffy service have doomed it. My wife and I stayed here for one night. We were asked to check in late (6.30 pm) since the hotel had a function winding up late. We arrived at 6.30 pm, and were still made to wait for almost one and a half hours to get a room. The hotel has limited housekeeping bandwidth. The room itself smelt musty, bed linens were damp. The bathrooms have been poorly designed with sloppy finishes. The shower stall has a smooth marble floor, which turns exceptionally slippery when using - no non-slip shower mat is provided. Water seeps out from under the shower door and wets the bathroom floor. The WC is hung at an uncomfortable height, so if you're not too tall your feet will dangle. No kettle in the room. Ordered tea from room service - first hotel I've ever stayed in that serves pre-made lukewarm tea already poured into two cups. No concept of sending fresh tea in a pot. All in all, there's limited choice of places to stay in Alibag, so I guess Mansion House will get it's share of business. But it could become a wonderful weekend destination if the owner took a personal interest and upped the product and service quality to match the glossy looks on the website.…
