Far away for city hassle, still reachable in an hour or two depending on travel option you choose(Land or Water). We were here for two nights, Sunday and Monday. We kind of owned the property for those two days. You can indulge yourself in indoor games like Carom and outdoor Badminton.Staff is very polite and kind heart. Food is also fine and so are rooms.

We had booked the entire property over 4 days / 3 nights. Group comprised of middle aged senior people (most of them senior citizens and rest young couples with kids - truly family trip) We reached there by boat from Mumbai around noon. Caution to people that means of transport from Mandwa to this property is by bus and then by rickshaw. Advisable to reach quickly to the bus which is provided by the ship owners, else you might have to go standing and its just not worth it. Best to junk the bus and negotiate a rick before the bus leaves (if it leaves then they will squeeze a bomb) We were welcomed and shown our rooms promptly. It was ready and nicely set. Rooms were nicely cleaned up. They had recently painted it seems. One can point out small faults, but then the

Its a very strictly average accommodation. The rooms are clean and have just-enough space that its not uncomfortable, at the same time, not lavish. The rooms are all bunched up together in this one spacious bungalow which has some common area on the ground floor and the rooms are all on top in one corridor on the second floor. The staff is courteous and are quite co-operative. The area of the entire place is quite big with the lawn outside and some chickens, ducks etc (small number) spread across. The food is decent, i wouldnt say great, but not bad. Its nice home-made marathi food that will anyday be better than any oily hotel food for sure. Overall - Value for money i would say but not impressive.

The Maharashtrian food is a delight, stay very peaceful and hospitality apt. Its in form of a bunaglow and hence has limited rooms. Its best if you go with friends. You can book all the rooms and have the property completely by yourself to enjoy.
