Well located and thoughtfully maintained property. Good home cooked food and close to beach. All in all would love to come back. There is a river with clean water and a small seasonal waterfall which is a real bonus for kids. Ostriches were also a real treat for kids.

I have been there multiple times with my family in the last decade. What draws me to Mauli is the greenery, hammocks, swings for my kids and above all, the freshly cooked home food with a deep Konkani flavour. The rooms and bathrooms are basic with nothing fancy or luxurious. But there is enough to walk around amid greenery, see vegetables and fruit orchards, show farm animals to kids or just read a book in peace. Food is always fresh, environment is pollution free and Kihim beach is just 3 km away. The drawback is that owners have not invested in upgrading the property or amenities or even the cutlery. But then tariff has also not gone up in ten years. If owners can invest in upgrading, it will be the best place to stay in Alibag.

This was my second visit to Mauli Village after a wonderful experience 2 years back at the same place. But i was very disappointed to see that the property was not at all maintained now. Rooms were big & clean but TV was not working. Hence there was no other entertainment for my 3 yr old.The crockery in which they served us food was all broken. There was no variety in breakfast. They only served us Poha & Omlette on request. Otherwise food in lunch & dinner was average. Would not recommend this place for family with small kids.

An average place., not a place to go if you expect luxury. The hotel is not well maintained, rooms are small with very basic amenities, room cleaning service was not available. The hotel is under staffed, in fact there was only one person to attend to all guests. Food was average and was not served on time
