This resort is on Kihim beach, which is just few minutes through a corridor. The beach is very quiet, not like Alibaug, you will enjoy if you like privacy. The resort's plus and minus points are:
Pros: 1. Very near to beach. 2. Well maintained garden, swimming pool. You will stay within nature. 3. The staffs are polite 4. Food is homely and good.
Cons: 1. Lacks maintenance of rooms. We were at room no.3. The furnitures are old and weird. Wardrobe doors not closing properly, toilet door not locking, some bulbs not glowing (they changed after we complained). We expected better rooms at 5k per day.

We spent 4 nights here, our second trip in 2 years. We booked the "family rooms" this time around which are mucb larger than the single cottage rooms. Below are the notable points: 1. Avoid staying in the single cottage rooms, they are too small and claustrophobic even for just a couple. Opt instead for the family rooms.
2. Location: across the street from Kihim beach
3. Property: small but well maintained and green.
4. Food: breakfast is included in the room rate and fix. 2 items daily. Generally it is decent, however items like misal tend to be very spicy and impossible for kids to consume. No alternative options available. Lunch, evening snacks and dinner need to ordered atleast 2 hours in advance and everything is spicy so be sure to clarify if you need mild food. By and large, food is tasty and frehly prepared.
5. Cleanliness: utensils and kitchen are fairly dirty. Rooms and bathrooms cleanliness is average. Cleanliness can definitely be improved.
6. Budget friendly property.

Casa De Kihim is barely a 1 minute walk from the Kihim beach of Alibaug. The rooms are very cozy and comfortable and there is ample parking. The entire team of front office/ reception, servers and cooking staff is very helpful and co-operative. This is one of those places where you can get food prepared as your taste. Anyone who requires food with no salt or low salt or tea without sugar is provided here. Also, all food is freshly prepared and they do NOT use any kind of food colors or preservatives. While in Kihim or Alibaug, this place is a very good option to stay.

Lovely place for a weekend away from Mumbai! Took the ferry to Mandwa Jetty and the coach to Chondi Naka. From there, it's a Rs 70/- rickshaw ride to the hotel. They have a good location though it's not exactly Beach front, as was advertised. It's less than half a minute away from the beach but the rooms don't have a 'beach view'. They have all other activities: TT, badminton, volleyball/football and their facilities are well placed and good. There is a restaurant on the property which serves homemade food if ordered 2 hrs in advance. Breakfast included with the package. They have 2 cottages for groups (adjoining/connected rooms). They also have 2 cycles on rent, comes highly recommended, amazing roads to cycle on nearby. Beach is decent and not too crowded.

It is a small privately owned resort with just 10 units. Cottages are clean and good sized. Nice bathrooms as well. Walking to Kihim beach takes 2 minutes. Breakfast is included. Rest of the meals have to be ordered like 3 hours in advance. Services by Ankush and Ayushi were very good and with smiles. Downside, they do not take credit cards, very unusual in modern times.

Quaint little place , very near to the Kihim beach. Loved the ruggedness of the place . Yet it had all the basic amenities like AC, clean Bathrooms, Chalet type cottages , with fridge , tv etc. It does not have a restaurant , the best part of it is that delicious food is cooked to perfection by the cooks there, as per your order. We had fried Jingas, awesome pomfret fried and authentic Kolhapuri mutton. There are family rooms and single cottages. Thanks to Aayushi for the warm hospitality.A very apt place to spend some family time.

We wanted to travel something close to beach but then nothing in Alibaug. Then we found Casa de Kihim which is not beach facing but Kihim Beach is just 2min walk from Resort. This place has 8 wooden cottages only and its small property . Apart from staying there is nothing in the property and very few things for Kids. If your looking to go on beach only then this is good place. Food provided is typical local taste and if you are foodie then you should try it .

Location is less than a minute's walk away from the beach. Family chalet rooms are big and spacious but not very clean. Rooms have a fridge, tv and kettle so that was nice.
Bathrooms are dirty and stinky, probably cuz the staff doesn't maintain them at all. If maintained, the place would feel even better. One can see the lack of effort in keeping things clean.
Food is extremely spicy.
People are nice but need some training in hospitality and cleanliness. A little more effort to atleast maintain the property for their own sake.
Not as big as it may appear in photos.

Perfect weekend getaway. Chalets/cottages were amazing, sparkling clean. Staff was very helpful and can take care of needs anytime. Food was the best part. We ordered veg and it was superbly tasty. Thanks to the staff, cook and the owner. Very safe of families with kids.
Just one advice - don't take a bath at the kihim beach . It's not sea anymore thanks to ongc oil leakaged and bmc dumping sewage directly into the see. It's now like a big nallah.
