Purchased this stay through a travel site which was a mistake. paid higher than rack rate. Actually one should directly contact the hotel to get better rates. The hotel is located centrally inside the city. Has ample free parking. The layout is good with central swimming pool and big water slide for children. There is carrom and table tennis facility as well. The room was ok. TV had decent collection of channels. The toilets were clean. The bed was bit small though. Package had a breakfast which is available for limited time 830 to 930 AM and extremely limited spread. It was arranged near pool side. Overall experience at 4500INR per night for two was ok. You can get it for 30% less if you avoid the travel booking website. Food can definitely be better. The Alibaug beech and Kolaba fort are about 1.5 km from hotel. So if you don't want to spend on star hotels, this is good option for you

Not a family hangout.

We booked 2 Deluxe rooms (room may 103/104) via our travel agent.

Its been barely 1/2 hour since I've checked in and I'm seriously wondering how the hell am I to survive 2 days here. GOD.

I understand that this place was cheaper than the rest but HEY, I really didn't want to compromise on hygiene.

The staff is nice and courteous. The ACs are working. Well guess what! I just summed up what's good about this place so far.

Now wait for the -Not so good- review
1. The rooms need an overhaul. Trust me and take my words as a Gospel of truth when I say, I seriously felt like a victim in the movie Saw-1.the walls are all patched up
2. The AC sounds like a diesel engine on standby. The constant growl and thunder of the GENERAL brand window AC is irritating
3. The bed sheets: (I really have to be honest here - forgive me). Feels like there's cum stains on the bed sheets. We asked the room service to change it for us. He gladly complied and changed the bedsheets 3 times. Trust me, I wonder where all those stains on all the sheets come from. Man I seriously wonder how my family will sleep on those beds tonight.
4. This take away the prize.
The comode : oh man.. Ooooh boyyyy. Have you ever seen a super stained western toilet (fortunately NOT the yellow left over poop).stained because of rust. Man.. That's the one I saw... Extremely repulsive. Once again fortunately the room service gave it a double acid wash. The stains have considerably vanished but hey it still looks a bit uninviting.

PS. As I typed this.. Right now. The room service came back with a newer bedsheet. This time.,better than the earlier ones.

WAIT WAIT.. that's not all.

Day 2.

I had a broken sleep because of the noisy AC.

The water from the flush was stinky. Well as if that wasn't a bad start to the day we had breakfast.

The breakfast tasted GOOD but hey that was a Trojan breakfast.
I had 2 fried eggs with bread and about 1/2 hour later I was suffering from acidity. The puris my parents had were smelly. (a 100% sureshot sign that the oil was stale and used over and over again)

Now comes the icing on the cake.
We had gone to Kashid beach (roughly 30 - 32 kms drive) and came back at 1230.

The door lock to Room No. 103 was jammed. We struggled for 5 mins and gave up. The Porter boy had to help us get into our adjacent room 104 and unlock the bolt from inside (fortunately we had bolted it from inside)

As of now.. We've decided to have our lunch and dinner elsewhere, avoid our breakfast tomo morning and check out ASAP

We expected this property to be a good one but we were disappointed after check in. Very old resort. Far away from beach. Only relief was nicely maintained swimming pool. If you get a double room with breakfast at Rs2000 a day or less, then only its worth staying. Bathrooms are in bad shape. Showers don't work properly and all else is in bad shape. I would anytime suggest anyone to avoid Alibaug in general and rather head for Kashid beach around 30 kms ahead. Kashid is a superior shore with white sand beach.

Pathetic place, very poorly maintained..They are demanding a very high price for the rooms which are not even worth Rs 1000.00....smelly rooms with lizards complimentary....the water served in the rooms, were from old bisleri bottles used by other guests....there was moss all over the walls,,,laundry was stinking...the pool was clean....the slide shows in the pics were rough and we could not slide over them...only 1 waiter to serve...this is very old property, it was a total waste of money in this resort..we paid over 7000 for 2 nights +gst....There is a turtle pond, which was the most dirtiest with mosquitoes breeding over it.

We were a group of 13, who checked in on April 18. The Rooms were ok. The painting in the rooms at some places had begun to peel off. The Air Conditioning Units were without a remote, which made it difficult to adjust the temperatures. Water from the Top floor, was leaking outside on the verandah. Though the property is a large one, maintainance is to be done in a proper way.

The attached restaurant was a real disaster, the ac units not functioning at all. The orders once placed took exceptionally long time to be delivering, resulting in loss of hunger and frustration. Food quality was also not worthwhile. Lots of Mosquitos too.

They have a Swimming Pool, but there is no trained lifeguard, which i feel is required,as people of all age groups access the pool.

Lots of scope for improvement

The resort is not properly maintained. Right from reception to rooms is not clean. water slide is not smooth. The swiming tank was not cleaned.
The rooms interiors are even worst than state maintained guest houses. Better to avoid it.
AND IT IS FAR FROM BEACH.

Stayed on this hotel for a period of 10 days.

This hotel makes you feel that you are back in 80's. The hotel has all the faclitiy, but is not maintained at all.

Avoid Delux rooms. Stayed in thier delux room first day and then changed us to Executive room, which was tad better.

The so called Super delux room is just about OK.

The pool is nice and if you happens to stay on weekday, you will probably only one staying there.

Food was good, as we were the only one staying during weekdays, they prepared accoridng to our choice.

Service though is good. The staff is helpful and eager to serve.

They do not take credit card or any cards. You need to pay by cash.

Another thing that bothered us to no end is mosquito's. We were told it's a common problem in Alibaug area. We really had a tough time with mosquito's.

In the end, I would say apart from good swimming pool it has nothig to offer.

The hotel is 20-25 years old and the rooms look so. The AC would make so much noise that you cannot sleep. The power points (mobile charging etc) do not work. The bedsheet towels etc are worn out.
Only good thing about the hotel - The Pool is good.
