First ever visit. This apparantly tiny building is quintesentually a village pub, with low ceilings, huge fireplaces and lots of nooks & crannys. But the food is definately 'upmarket' and diners are offered an excellent menu choice.

We stayed for one night over Easter so that we could spend time with family who had pitched their motorhome on the pub's site. The pub has about 6 rooms and they are all very well appointed, spotlessly clean and tastefully decorated. Excellent wall mounted TV and free (and very fast) wifi. We ate dinner and breakfast in the pub...

Lovely friendly hotel with an amazing charm and full of character. We only stayed the one night but we're made to feel very welcome. A table in the restaurant was pre booked as suggested at time of booking. Food amazing plenty of choice, real ales on tap were good as they brew their own. Full English breakfast again it was...

We stayed here to break up a drive home from Cornwall. Lovely place and very dog friendly. There is even a dog bed and water bowl in your room as well as a list of local walks through the peaceful countryside, along with the estimated time for each walk. You can take your dog in to eat with you. A...

I first stayed at The Masons Arms on 2nd January 2013. Each time I have stayed since, most recently last Thursday, I have not been disappointed. Drew and Paula's attention to every detail is sublime. If you are undecided as to where to stay when visiting the Yeovil area, do not think twice about staying at The Masons Arms!

Stayed here for two nights 30 and 31 December 3016. We came on recommendation from my brother, with his family and some other friends, along with all our doggies. I can honestly say, that when we sat in our car to go home New Year's Day both my husband and I agreed was the best New Year's Eve we'd had...

Visited this lovely thatched pub this winter. Food was very good, if a little expensive, and staff were very welcoming and helpful. This pub has all the attributes of an olde worlde establishment but we were really disappointed to find there was NO OPEN FIREPLACE! On a freezing winter's night - this would have added that extra special atmosphere.
