Janet was the perfect hostess - I arrived before the 3 cyclists I was supporting and she made me feel very welcome and gave me a much needed pot of tea! Each of our 3 rooms were clean, very comfortable and had ensuite shower rooms. Dinner was arranged for us at the local pub. Breakfast was super with home made...

We used this B&B as a stop-off point to visit South-west Cornwall (it is close to Launceston and just off the A30). This B&B gave us a chance to explore Boscastle and Tintagel (both highly recommended), before heading south to St Agnes. The B&B was excellent value (only £30 per person per night). The location is delightful and although the...

I found Oakside B&B by personal recommendation from another Launceston B&B during what promised to be fruitless search for 2 spare rooms in North/East Cornwall last night. We booked in at 9:30pm and were delayed in our journey, but Janet had stayed up for us and showed us our rooms which were cosy, very clean, and well-equipped with ensuites, tea-making...

I have stayed in many B&B's over the years, some good, some not so good. Oakside Farm was delightful. A friendly welcome and a cup of tea upon arrival, a wonderful freshly cooked breakfast in the morning and advice on where to eat locally for dinner all added to lovely, relaxed stay. I will definitely be staying here again.

Although the room we stayed in was on the small size it was fully equipped, clean and comfortable and there was a separate guest lounge with patio doors to a lovely garden. The owner Janet was friendly and helpful. After a big cooked breakfast on the first morning we requested simply cereal and toast the next day and asked if...

This is one of the best guest houses I have ever stayed in. Very accessible, tranquil, classy, spotlessly clean and really quite incredible value. Breakfast (home made bread, marmalade etc., eggs from the resident chickens!) was beautiful too. Janet was so nice, making me feel at home, showing me the lovely living area overlooking the garden. I prepared for an...

Positive was the off road parking, the warm welcome, the quite location, closeness to the A30 and the availability of a lounge with views over the garden. We were disappointed to find the twin room we had booked with no en suite. Could not remember being told this when we booked. If we had booked a double one it would...

Very easy to find just off the A30, though you are unaware the road is near as the bungalow is sheltered away from the noise. Janet gave us a very warm welcome, offered us tea and showed us our comfortable rooms.......which we all slept very well in! The accommodation is very private with a lovely lounge to make use of...
