We've eaten here numerous times this week. On every occasion the food was excellent and the sfaff welcoming. The menu is varied and certainly deserves the title gastro pub / restaurant. Definitely worth the effort to seek out this pub. Well behaved dogs welcome in the bar.

Once found this is a truly great find. Signposting around the back lanes of Cornwall was good. There was six of us out as friends. We all had three courses with a full variety from the menu. Food was of an excellent standard. The landlord was friendly and informative about his menu. Service was good. Would recommend and visit again.

Went as a party of four on a Sunday and enjoyed a simply outstanding Roast Beef Sunday lunch. The menu was well constructed and offered varied choices. The owner and staff were very pleasant and the atmosphere very pleasant. The pub was popular but not overcrowded. Well recommended.

We stayed here for a weekend getaway and it really delivered. The rooms were clean and full of character and we felt really relaxed there. The hosts were really nice & welcoming and I spent some happy time trying out the ale selection downstairs. We decided to eat on our last night as we were feeling lazy and it was...

My first visit since the new management took over. We were a party of 12. The menu had an excellent choice for everyone. I understand it is updated almost daily. They are looking to promote more locally grown produce once they get more established. Service was very friendly and attentive. Well worth popping in if you are in the area....

This was my first visit to the Racehorse and had Sunday lunch here. Scallops & hogs pudding starter was delicious, but please use plates, a slab of slate to eat off is not practical at all! Roast beef main with roast spuds to die for was almost like home cooked Sunday roast, excellent. To finish, ice cream, really creamy and...

Visited after a long drive with my husband and 1 year old son. Great food and good service. Small menu...but often find this is a good thing! The quality of the food was brilliant! Would recommend and if we are down this way again, we would definitely make another visit.
