We were really satisfied with this hotel. Stopping in Hufingen on our way to Titisee, we got one of the biggest rooms we've been to (and we were 4 on that trip), good beds, great bathrooms. This seems like a family run hotel, and after check in the maid offered to carry our luggage 3 floors up (no elevator) -...

I stay here many times when coming to Donaueschingen for business. If you are looking for active social life and shopping, this hotel is not for you. I like to be in a quiet (nature) area and relax when I am out of meetings and this hotel fits perfectly. After meals at the nice restaurant, I can hike up to...

I stay regularly at the Roessle being in the area on business. The hotel is in a small village with beautiful scenary. I don't have much free time but I understand it's popular with hikers and those enjoying outdoor activities. The rooms are traditional but very comfortable and always extremely clean. The owners and staff offer a great, friendly service....

This hotel is located in a very quiet town, off the beaten path and very peaceful. We stayed in one of the newly-opened flats on the opposite side of the road from the main hotel. The apartment was of a very high standard, including a large bathroom with a great walk-in shower. During our stay we also met other guests...

This hotel is rated 3-star + and that is exactly what it is.Who needs more? Managed by the friendly owner, the rooms are spotless, as is the table linen in the restaurant nb. linen, no paper serviettes here. Quietly located, easy parking, worth driving just a little off the main road to find it. No need to spend more on...

Nice hotel and very nice people. We only had some trouble with noisy "neighbors" the second night... Not their fault. And they were very friendly. We ate two times at the restaurant, and the cooking was excellent. Nice and clean rooms. Good breakfasts also.

For the price this was not worth it. When looking for accommodating in the ”Black forest” our number one criteria was a family room, as we are a family of 5 (2 adults and 3 children under the age of 11) travelling. We did the booking for” Gasthof zum Rössle, Fürstenberg” through booking.com. We booked a quadruple room with one...

“I like the newest building across from the restaurant. Nice and spacious with a kitchenette..”

“Better rooms are in the annexe - but you'll get wet walking to the dining room if it rains. I prefer being in the main hotel building.”
