I was allocated a room, with 2 single beds, and an ensuite. The whole room was not very clean marks on the carpet and the bathroom had very dirty corners to the whole room, and the sides of the bath and shower screen, The bathmat smelt dreadful, and overwhelming. The room was crowded, and bed linen although clean was very... More

This is a great place to stay for £35 a night with breakfast per person. Yes, the place is a little dated in places but that is the only criticism. We had a warm welcome with a nice breakfast the following morning. The reviews I've read here are not my experience of The Meadow House which could ruin someones business.

This b&b states that it is a dog friendly accommodation and yet I was told not to let my dog on the grass as the owners have grandchildren! So basically my dog can walk on your stoned driveway then??? At breakfast this morning I was only given 1 sausage, 2 rashers of bacon and 2 eggs (not really a full... More

I'm a contractor and I found the place clean and more than accommodating. Beds comfy and clean can't complain. Plenty of off road parking and within walking distance off all amenities. Well pleased to find this little gem. Thanks Mrs Marsh for being such a great help.

We hope the owners take note of the following to improve the experience for future guests. Upon arriving, from the outside the B&B looks inviting enough. First impression when entering was one of clutter and entering someone's home - it was a bit confusing. We went up to our room and to be honest it felt like a time warp... More

Hilary's Cottage is well positioned in the pretty and well kept village of Swaffham Prior. Local walks are well signposted and maintained and the village itself has two churches and to windmills. The cottage is spacious, sleeps six people comfortably and is very well equipped. It is charming and has character and as such is not immaculate but is well... More

While our room was ok and the breakfast passable, so many establishments go to real lengths to make guests welcome and comfortable. This was absent here and we would not return. I am sure with greater research we could have found more pleasing accommodation.

My family and I have been staying at The Meadow House B&B for a number of years and always experienced an excellent stay therefore we are shocked at the number of bad reviews which is why I have decided to write an opposing one. The trouble with TripAdvisor is that all the guests that have stayed over the years who... More

I booked the self-catering Apt. 14 for 10 days but after the first week had to request a refund on the remaining nights because the apartment was flea infested. They did not offer alternate accommodation or even make an apology; in fact I was told I was overreacting, and that I should have told them right away because they "would've... More

I am very sorry to hear you feel this way. It has been a long time since anybody has stayed in this apartment with dogs and after every stay the apartment is cleaned thoroughly, so I am unsure how this has happened; However we should have been alerted about this problem when it had arisen so we would have been...
