We only stayed for 1 night but wish that it had been longer. We had a little trouble finding it because we were coming from the north and the drive was reflected backwards from our direction. Once found the drive was very steep but once in the car park the views were wonderful. Drew gave us a friendly welcome and...

We stayed in a queen room with sea view and it was perfect stayed for one night. Room was tidy with ceiling fan which was amazing at night to stay cool. The view was better than anticipated, with outdoor seating to enjoy it. Bed was comfy and everything was in perfect working order. Only complaint would be the wifi we...

We stayed here for three nights after travelling around the Coromandel earlier in the week. The lodge is about 10 minutes from Thames where you will have to go for food or shopping. We had room 3 which was a downstairs queen room at the front of the building with great views from the verandah across the bay. The room...

We stayed here for one night during a drive around the Coromandel and absolutely loved it. The Lodge is on a hill and boasts great sunset views of the water. We had a lovely room that met all of our needs. The hosts, Christine and Drew were great and invited us to cook in the kitchen after we were rained...

The real 'Wow' factor of this accommodation is 1) the amazing view from the bedroom and also from the upstairs sitting and dining room, 2) the lovely hosts, who were quite charming., 3) the beautiful garden that surrounds the property. The rooms are clean and comfortable and spacious. We had a perfect two night stop over.

Most definitely not a "lodge". More like someone's house. My heart sank when we pulled up and saw a hand written notice telling people to take their shoes/boots off, and not to bring mud in. One of the owners turned up with bare feet. We had the so called family room. First, I am shown a bathroom. Discussion around the...

La Casa Lodge was established in the early 1990's as a Lodge. The Lodge has had several owners and two different names. The present owners purchased the Lodge in 2011 and continue to run the Lodge as a Lodge and to date not a Bed and Breakfast. Therefore NO breakfast is included in the price. NO advertising at the date...

We stopped over for our first night in NZ arriving straight from the airport. Run by a friendly couple who are restoring the property. Magical sunset & stunning views for breakfast. Great ice cream at the local store.
