Booked this hotel after reading a lot of reviews online. I must say the hotel did not disappoint at all. The staff welcomed us warmly and they were very courteous. The room was well maintained and quite spacious. The best part about this resort is the infinity swimming pool with a gorgeous view of the mountains & valley. I travelled along with family and my kid really enjoyed the pool and the open garden area. Special mention to the staff members who took the extra effort to keep us happy & occupied. They organized a small trek for us as well. The food was great too. Buffet breakfast was good with lots of options and we could have only one dinner at the hotel which was really tasty. I would definitely recommend this hotel and would love to visit again!

The hospitality is very good, every single staff greets you well, they will attend to you regarding anything with a smile. The location of the resort is very good with an awesome view of the valley, the infinity pool has an amazing view.
The food was very good too, though all the three restaurants have the same menu , the options are good compared to any other hotel in town. Service is a bit slow but still good.
I got a junior suite with a valley view, the room was very good and the weather was very pleasant
Salt and spice levels in the food are on the lower side, not very suitable for Indian audience is what I felt
The complimentary breakfast has a good spread , however the continental dishes needs improvement, the South Indian dishes were good, podi idly, pongal, kesari bath were all very good, the juices were good too, the Dosa was not made well, when requested to customize a little it tasted excellent, so little care needs to be taken in the live counter section. Donuts and pancakes were not soft. Dosas lacked salt.
Had asked for room decoration for my wife’s birthday, it was a surprise and she loved it, they had done it very well and took care of it accordingly
There was a fun activity organized for all the guests which was good to interact with each other and have some fun
So overall a great experience and I would say grand palace stay was a memorable one and would recommend it to anyone visiting yercaud!!!

We stayed here for 2 nights and 3 days. So we booked through the hotels website based on the recommendation of the staff whom we spoke with on the phone before booking. He recommended us to take a Premium room as it would be really good for family with kids. During checkin I requested for a room with infinity view to one Mr. Firoz Khan who was at the front desk but he said all rooms have been allocated only this room was available. The room we were assigned had a Direct access to the lawn and swimming pool and it was good. The actual problem started when I tried to increase the AC Temperature, the AC dumped a load of dust and thermocoal on the floor. We called the maintenance and the guys came and cleaned it and it was dumping more and more dust. They started cleaning the AC vent with the guests in the room and when we started asking them, why they are doing this with guest, they offered us to take a Junior suite and they showed nearly 4-5 rooms none of which had a better view or some had AC problem. Finally we shifted to some other room. They are doing renovations and safety of the guests are of no concern to them. KIDS PLAY AREA- children were able to feel electric shock when playing in the park and after complaining they closed the park for the kids. So out of the 3 days of stay, kids never got to play in the park. Other fun activities like zip lining, shooting etc are all charged and the charges are only in ₹₹₹. Food was average not much to the hype and really not worth the money we pay. Complimentary breakfast average and boring with the same menu repeated every day. Dosa live counter is a waste. Only good thing there is the maintenance staff and the staff at the restaurant are really pleasing, Polite and very helpful. The managers and front desk staff are not that friendly. Special mention to Mr. Anbarasu who cleaned our rooms very well, Ms. Murugeshwari and Ms. Oviya at the restaurant who catered to the needs of the kids and we’re having friendly conversations with us. The events and kids play activities organiser Mr. Dipakraj was good and friendly to the kids. Overall a very hyped hotel. They never met the equation of cost to the amenities provided.

This place is located is well located at the tip of a mountain, with a serene surroundings of the valley. The staff at the hotel treat there guest with utmost respect and care and there services (breakfast buffet, spa and activity center) are excellent! They also arrange cancel light dinners at the pool side which is great experience to have for a nominal fee which I do recommend for any couples. All in all it was a perfect place to spend some quality time with family at the infinity pool and relax, rejuvenate oneself👍

Excellent resort and a great place to relax from the hustle and bustle of the Bangalore city.
Nice warm welcome by front office.
Ambience of Cloud 9 bar was remarkable and great pour and excellent guest service by bartender Ajay. Good company given by staff team on snooker table.
Both breakfast and dinner by chefs from inhouse orange restraunt was very tasty and filling. Needless to say great view from Alittude kitchen.
Deep tissue massage by spa therapist from bliss spa was relaxing.
Good outdoor activites and pool for both kids and adults.
Only positive feedback is for the engineering team since there was a delay to fix the fridge and swimming pools needs to be monitored, skim off and cleaned on frequent intervals. Leakage which happend next to SPA was not pleasant. Music played by nearby hotel or homestay was annoying at night for Sunrise rooms which was facing towards parking.

after lockdown really scared to visit anywhere but hotel grand palace gave us the comfort and safety, we were supposed to check in by 1 pm but got key at 3 pm still accepted the delays bcz they were sanitizing the room and each floor has sanitizer,we stayed in Junior suite room and would really recommend this for anyone. You can really enjoy the hill view and relax at the perfect place in yercaud by just being in the room type.good hospitality ,Tasty Food, Clean Rooms, Excellent Property for family vacation. Very nice scenic views. Kids indoor games are very few please add more for kids, and finally would like to appreciate Mr. Abilash for keeping us more active and fully engaged. He conducted games in the evening, his way of communication and encouraging people during playing very much Appreciable, Nithya- she was very kind and friendly person.very humble and smiling face, please keep it up

Hotel Grand palace is located on the hilltop predominantly surrounded by full of greenery on all sides, the scenic beauty of the location cannot be expressed in simple words, the perception was derived from my recent livid experience during my visit to the place along with family members, the hospitality extended by the entire crew of the management is really unimaginable & commendable, my sincere appreciation & special accolades goes to Mrs Nithya supervisor attached to the restaurant whose service to the visiting guests with zeal & kindness is appreciable, room service is extremely extraordinary, except for few electrical snags in TV & refrigerator connection which was duly addressed by the maintenance staff within minutes, last but not the least, the food served was delicious & tasty & it's the top notch among all other things, It maybe noted that the front office staff was very courteous in general and Mr. In particular. They were kind enough to accommodate us in adjacent rooms instantly as my entourage consisting upon 2 senior citizens and my two children were playful using the play area who were in total exuberance.. before concluding,the first visit has made us to rethink for Frequent visits..

My first break in Covid times did not disappoint. The property is well maintained, has temperature checks, sanitizer everywhere ( even though some places it was empty most of the time). The staff is very friendly and try their best to address customer ire especially when it comes to restaurant/food service. The cycle time to get main course out is just too high(1 hr +) but the good part was that the food was delicious. Moorthy one of the captain's in the restaurant was helpful throughout my stay. The room was nice but need a bit of cleaning on top of furniture, behind TV etc. Linen was sparkling clean.Post lockdown feel they might be a bit understaffed but the team seems to be doing a good job. Will ask them to pay more attention to detail while appreciating them for the effort.

Great resort with lovely ambience. Stayed in sunrise room which is fine. Room is clean and we will get the many items on request like daily usages which might forget on travel.
