We stayed at this property for two nights to celebrate our anniversary. It is well maintained and the rooms are large. We went on treks inside the property in the mornings and evenings. The restaurant serves good food and the staff are polite. Would recommend for anyone looking for a calm and serene atmosphere

we stayed here for a week. nice place amidst lot of greenery, fruit trees, and waling paths through woods. Food is very good and the chef can Bharth bhushan can go extra mile to make it as per your taste. Rooms are big with open veranda and sitting area. gaming facilities are there. you can do some trekking if you like. relax and enjoy the nature. connectivity will be a an issue sometimes but ignorable since its a holiday. Ravi at front office will facilitate everything to make your stay comfortable.

Enjoyed the property..calm serene and completely immersed in nature. The food was top notch and the chef was really courteous to go out of thr way and make some amazing delicious cuisines for us. Went there with my two year old daughter and she had a great time as well. A definite recommend for a peaceful holiday away from the noise of the city.

If you are looking for a place in the hills that is peaceful, quiet where you want to detach yourself from city life, this is it. This is a beautiful resort located in the middle of a coffee plantation. You'll get that whole experience of staying within a forest. The food is good (they specialize in continental, but their regular Indian food was also good), the desserts are a special delight, my personal favorite was the coffee cake. I did a solo trip (2 nights, 3 days) and it was just the best. A lot time for myself just reading, writing and resting. There are also few hammocks around the property for you to use. If you want to stretch your muscles, they are a few cycles for hire on the property as well if you are adventurous as I am and use them. I think I was the first person to use the cycles on the property. This is 30km loopride that was really test your endurance skills. (cycling uphill is no joke). If you are doing it take the ride in the morning. You could also go for a couple of treks that the resort will organise for you around the plantation (simple treks, nothing fancy) The trek at sunrise is definitely worth waking up early for. There is also a lovely open spot if you'd like to do some yoga. If you are going with family, they can setup a nice candlelit dinner and there is a bon fire that the resort can setup for you as well. Whilst I did travel early April, the weather was still fairly pleasant, a little warm during the day and a little chill at night. There are no air conditioners for good reason. For someone like me coming from Chennai and AC's are the norm, I had no issues with a good nights sleep. If you are really looking to experience the hill station weather, then the best time to travel is probably the cooler months, Aug onwards. Apart from all of this, one of the best things about the property were the friendly staff. Always with a pleasant smile and very helpful. Every single person right from the manager of the property to the security guard. If you are dog friendly person like I am, there is a friendly dog named Tiger on the property. This was easily one of the best trips I have ever had and it made it more special as it was solo. I've been talking so much about it, that now I'll need to bring my family the next time I come here again and that will happen soon. Leaving this trip, I just felt rejuvenated, refreshed and more importantly relaxed. Thank you Shambala. Regards, Sandeep

We were there in Shambala Resorts from 28th March till 4th of April. It was like a Dream come true and have already booked for 10 days from 7th August to 17th August. The entire credit goes to the GM Mr. Ravisundar and his team, Mr. Janardhan et al. They literally pampered us which made the stay even more memorable. Got a free upgrade and the breakfast provided was awesome which tickles your taste buds, credit to Mr. Muthukumaran and Mr. Prabhu. We could walk a lot in a private cement road outside and could see 6 wild Bisons in a plantation opposite the Resort. Weather was very pleasant and the room was very comfortable. Went for Nature walk with Mr. Bharani and also witnessed the Coffee seed processing in the Resort. They provided TV channels of our choice and connected our Fire Stick for watching movies on Netflix. We hardly viewed the TV since we were only enjoying the bountiful beauty Mother Nature offered us there.
