Sterling Resorts, Yercaud is a great option for a 2/3 day outing. The location next to Lady' Seat is awesome with a stunning view of the valley below and the city of Salem. The resort is neat and well maintained. The staff- from security, housekeeping, restaurant to reception are courteous and give their best. The restaurant is top notch with both buffet and Ala carte options. A decent range, excellent taste, courteous service and reasonable pricing makes it a great option. The indoor play area has lots of games for the kids. Special thanks to Mr Mridul of Sterling Resorts who entertained the children through the evening in the indoor play area when it was pouring outside. Overall a memorable experience!
The most interesting part of our stay there was the excellent buffet with a variety of dishes. The culinary skill of the Chef is worth mentioning. (Generally resorts provide rather tasteless food especially for buffets. Our recent experience with Sterling Thekkady is a classic example and unfortunately during our stay there was only buffet and no A La Carte) Our best wishes to the Restaurant team at Yercaud!!
We stayed in Sterling Yercaud from 7th May-9th May 2022. The stay was pleasant. We had requested a valley view room and we were given a valley view room which had a fantastic view of the valley. The food in Zing was excellent. I enjoyed each meal we had in the restaurant. Ramya from the restaurant was helpful and I would like to give a shoutout to her. Unfortunately, I could not meet the chef personally who was just amazing. One area they can improve is to keep the rooms ready before the guests arrive. Considering the check-in time is 12 pm and we reached at 4 pm we had to wait for 15-20 mins for our 2nd room to be made ready. Except for this everything was good. Thanks to everyone who ensured we had a pleasant stay.
Sterling Yercaud is the place to go when you want a quiet holiday, to relax and be pampered. The property is perched on a hill, so the rooms have breath-taking views, the food is EXCELLENT (better than most 5 star restaurants) and the staff are wonderful. The Chef (Vijayan) takes special care to curate a menu with local flavours and every meal is a treat. The staff are very friendly and efficient - you feel that you are being given personal attention even when the resort is packed. Everything has a personal touch - and Overall, I would say that I had a better experience here than I have had in many upscale resorts.
Our stay at Sterling Yercaud was a pleasant experience . The location of the resort was good and it offered good mountain views . Quality service by the staff especially with the kitchen staff Ramya , Rajkumar and few others . The food buffet was awesome . When I informed them of my sea food allergy the chef Vijayan made me a special chicken dry . The only drawback in the resort was of the parking space where they need to lay a proper road .
