For over two centuries since this place was unearthed by the Europeans, this town is famous for its idyllic lake and gorgeous scenery. The Brook Resorts and Spa lets you experience the tranquil calmness of the hills and the streams and offers a getaway from the maddening crowds.
I must thank each and every one in the hotel for taking extra efforts to ensure the property is clean. Firstly I like the location of the property which is 4km away from Yercaud lake and hence you are very away from the city/congested routine. People who prefer very private and lonely area can always chose this one. Ambiance is of top quality. As soon as I stood there in the reception, I was handed the room key by just enquiring my name. No extra documentation or wait time. They never hesitate or show faces when we ask for anything. I asked them to clean up my room and they readily accepted. Swimming Pool is good but the restrooms adjacent to the pool needs some more cleaning. Kids play area is sufficient for kids below 10 years. Overall My visit to Yercaud was made memorable by Brooks where we spent almost the entire 2 days.

We 19 friends from Chennai stayed in this Brook Resort from 30.09.2023 to 02.10.2023. The breakfast was very tasty and hygienic The lunch and dinner were very delicious according to our choice we can order allocot. Every night bonfire our friends enjoyed a lot very good hospitality.

We booked the two bedroom wooden villa (Marutham) for two nights. Location of the resort was close to travel to all the sight seeing places. Resort has spread of activities to choose from like swimming, badminton, gym, indoor games etc. It is away from the hustle of the town and is very peaceful once you are inside the resort. The best part is the early morning sunrise and the sound of birds chirping around.Staff are very courteous and helpful.Rooms are well maintained and cleaned on request if you are staying more than a day
Wifi strength was the only concern as it was very weak inside the rooms. This can be improved.
It was a great stay overall and the kids enjoyed it.

Avoid this place if you really want to go for a jacuzzi stay! The jacuzzi takes 2 hours to fill and the amount of dirt from valves when you switch on the jacuzzi is beyond terrible. I could see hair floating out. They gave an excuse saying room was provided 10 mins earlier than check in time hence they did not get the time to clean. Later sent people who swept the jacuzzi with drain cleaning broom, it was laughable and waste of time! They wanted to change our room stating other room has better pressure of water - then why would you waste someone’s time giving one room which does not have water pressure to begin with? We have a small child with health restrictions, so we did not go through the trouble to move the room. Irony - it rained after 30 mins which would have defeated the whole purpose of moving from one room to another as outside jacuzzi cannot be used in rains. A perfectly spoilt vacation. Room was small with moulds which triggered allergy for us! Even the blanket provided, is like the one provided by Indian railways. Even a refund would not have made me happy as it was complete waste of time. I could not wait to get out of there!

First, the property is green seems ok from outside. Rooms are dingy and treatment is shabby. Our room was facing to their kitchen and other activities under the balcony. Most of the menu is not served, that is just on paper only. Moreover, whatever they serve is not even of average standard. Poor preparation! Tea will be served with milk powder only, no masala or ginger. I mean, who does it? Hotel is forcing their guests to have whatever they are available with, NO request is entertained. Overall stay was an unhappy experience.

I was on my Xmas vacation with my family and it was a bad decision to select this place based on past reviews. Well let me just share the experience. 1. While booking itself the BDM on the call was very adamant about the tariff which was quite different than what was available on online portals and when asked about the same she said we would not be notified about your booking if you do it through Agoda or booking.com. And when we informed her that 1 room is with single occupancy she was again not ready to listen on the tariff. 2. When we reached the hotels 3 rooms were allotted to us which we were not happy about. Their was noone to listen to us and we had to reach out to the Manager. 3. All the rooms which were allotted had dirty curtains and when we requested them to change the room. The Manager sent us to check other rooms and wasted our time of 45+mins and then were advised would change the curtains of all the 3 allotted rooms post lunch. Rooms were allotted at 4pm. 4 Out of The rooms which was allotted one had A kettle which was broken, a door mat which was very very dirty, a coffee cup which was used and kept to be re-used, washroom had no toiletries, a plug point which doesn't work. The other room had a broken lock for the washroom and the commode was broken. 4. When informed the BDM/receptionist she just said would fix it but there was no sign of acknowledgement or apologies. It was like okay you have an issue we will fix that. 4. Children's park which they claim is nothing but a joke. Has dirty slides which haven't been cleaned from years and has a broken swing for child. Never take the risk of taking your child there. 5. They claim they have a gym - it's nothing but a joke again, which has a exercising cycle which had broken handle and the Walker also is so shaky that u may fall from it any minute. All the equipment were old and broken. 6. They have carrom board which is nothing but a piece of crap as it's uneven and soaked in rain. The TT table was also not upto the mark. 7. The swimming pool is decent with a nice view, however not that clean as expected and the washroom to change clothes is sooo dirty and unhygienic as if never cleaned and there is no chairs or place to keep your change over clothes near the pool. 8. The food they serve for breakfast is the same everyday with no much change to the menu and it's not worth the price they charge for if you are taking a package including Breakfast. 9. The place overall is very unclean and unhygienic. Their washbasin to wash hands near their restaurant had all fungus on it.
Only good thing is after we complaint multiple times the staff was very courteous to us and Even the Manager. However that is not gonna change my review about the property.
The property is not worth the price they charge. I wish I could have given them a lower star than this. Book this place only if you plan to be disappointed

We as a family had been to this resort and stayed there for the long weekend during the Pongal Holidays in 2021. I should say that this is one of the most affordable and the best resorts in yercaud. The resort is placed very close to the Pakoda point in Yercaud, which is walkable from the place. The resort is placed on a hilly slope in the midst of coffee plantations on either side and beautiful trees. It's all greenery in and around. We choose the premium wooden villas. The rooms were very spacious and neatly constructed with wood, that serves as good insulation from the cold. The rooms are neat and clean and the bathrooms especially are very clean. They are to the standards of any 3 star hotels. The food in their restaurant is noteworthy!! The food here is amazing and really really tasty! I feel that's the best food you can ever get in yercaud, no doubt. The best part is it was really affordable. The bone gravy, the tribal food menu, the fish fry and last but not the least the bamboo Biriyani, was all amazing and out of the world tasty. They are really nice to eat complimenting the cold weather. The staffs are amazing!! The kitchen team Arun, Rahul, John & Sneha are a real great asset to the resort and they make sure they go the extra mile to make the guests happy with their hospitality. They are simple and humble people. Kudos to the team and the leadership for running this resort in the best way possible!

My stay at The Brook Resorts and Spa was a memorable one..The usp of this resort is the ever smiling staff headed by the down to earth GM - Mr.Kathiraman who took great care of not only us but the other guests too.. He met and greeted each and every guest warmly during the breakfast and also asked for the feedback. A special mention for Mr.Govindrqj ( Housekeeping ) ,Mr.Prabhu Raj ( Front office Manager) and Lokesh for their prompt services,assistance and ofcourse their ever smiling faces which gave us a sense of belonging and a part of their loving family.
The resort gives you the golden opportunity of connecting with nature.Waking up in the morning listening to the chirping of the birds makes you realise what one is misses living in metropolitan cities!
The best part of the food served is that it is fresh,hygenic,less on the spices and delicious..It was a pleasure treating our taste buds to the tribal food - the yummy bamboo biryani, paneer sullu and vana baman- the forest drink!Do try these !
Thanks Nisha for the rejuvenating experience at the spa.The Deep Tissue Spa with pressure points was relaxing and wonderful.Yo've got magical hands .My face is still glowing!!!!
Ms.Annakeli,too made sure that each and every guest got idlis,dosas,rasam for breakfast!

This resort has a lot of potential given the location (near to Yercaud town) and the natural beauty it is situated within. On the positive side, staff is very nice and helpful and try to sort out issues. Food at the restaurant is excellent and we never had to think about having food outside the resort. However there are quite a few points where they have to improve. 1. There is only one desk for check in and check out. We had to wait behind people for 15-20 minutes for both check in and check out. There is room for 2 desks and also the manpower but it is not put to use. 2. There is no mobile network and no in-room wifi. To connect to family, everytime we had to walk form our villa to the reception this was a big pain. 3. The villa layout is very strange. The TV is kept right beside the sofa at an angle that you cannot watch the TV while sitting on the sofa. For watching TV, you always have to sit on the bed. This is applicable for all Premium Villa. When we saw this layout in our room, we asked for a change of room but were informed by the staff that all rooms have the same layout. 4. Covid guidelines: Noone checked our temperatures or asked us to sanitise our hands while checking in. Throughout the resort, I saw several staff members not wearing the mask or carrying the mask on the chin. This is a violation of Government norms and main reason for my rating.
