We dropped our 3 children off at a holiday cottage with their grandparents and decided to stay here overnight to break up our journey. I wasn't prepared for how stunning this hotel was. Breathtaking views, quality furnishings and exquisite food, we felt very spoilt.

Excellent stay, food was great, hosts were great and scenery was fantastic. Will be staying again Even our dog was given his own bed and blanket, with a little pot of dog biscuits for him to munch on if he got hungry

My wife and I have just stayed at this, in our view, rather unique hotel. Given the setting, the tasteful interior decor and lovely furniture, we felt more like guests of some local Lord of the Manor. Quite unstuffy though and very welcoming in all aspects. Beautiful hotel and beautiful surroundings. Amazing views onto the lake. Very friendly environment. Food was excellent and the service was amazing. Will definitely stay there again when next in the area.

We had a great few days at Ravenstone. Lovely accommodating hosts where nothing seemed too much trouble. Beautiful room with great view. Delicious food and great breakfast. Keep up the hard work! We'll be back!

Thank you to Martin and Ivana for being great hosts. Harry (bouncy ESS) was made to feel at home; as were we. The hotel is comfortable, warm and welcoming. The food was plentiful and delicious and the bar well stocked. We will be back!

We are fully dog friendly and ideally situated for walking, hiking & biking in the stunning Northern Lakes, Within the beautiful stone walls, you will find 20 charming en-suite bedrooms, a beautiful lounge, bar and games room with snooker and pool tables. Fed by the waters of Skiddaw, the Manor boasts its own fresh spring water that has quenched the thirst of its guests for over 50 years. The Dining Room serves a menu highlighting the freshest local meats, cheeses and produce. Open to residents and non-residents we offer a good home-cooked menu.
