We had a wonderful two night stay at Ravenstone Manor. Martin and his team were incredibly welcoming and we felt really valued. The hotel is an eclectic and chic mix of old and new, cleverly married together providing a warm, relaxed atmosphere with lost to look at and admire. We really did feel at home (with lots of added luxuries...

We were greeted and served by the owners throughout, there is a charming bar and games room with log fires. We had our annual "Lakeland Christmas Party" at this venue and it was excellent all round. Good food, and very comfortable, tastefully decorated/ furnished room. We were all looked after so well by Martin and his wife, making us feel very much at home. The hotel's refurbishment is almost complete (Dec 2016), but it still retains its' old character. Beautiful...

My husband and I chose this place as it is dog friendly. The dogs are allowed everywhere and welcomed with open arms. It's a lovely old house which feels so comfortable to be in. We had a drink in the lounge in the evening and it felt like a step back in time, as though being in an Agatha Christie...

We stayed at Ravenstone Manor during October half-term and would highly recommend it. It's an atmospheric building with all the comforts of (a very lovely) home you could want. We had a view overlooking the lake, which was stunning. There were four and a dog in our party and all of us were made to feel very welcome. Breakfast and...

We found this hotel so relaxing. It was nice to relax in the cosy bar area with the fire blazing after a long winter walk. The owners are friendly and professional and we quickly felt at home. They're happy to help with tips about the local area and places to walk. We thought the breakfast and evening meals were delicious....
