We stayed here for one night and were very happy with our choice. After a long drive, our baby daughter was bursting with energy so we were quite happy that this B&B had an indoor swimming pool where she could burn off some energy. Excellent breakfast, clean room, and very friendly owners. The Marmora mine is just 5 minutes away...

Staying with friends in Madoc, I simply could not expect to find a restaurant of this calibre and quality in this region. The Portuguese owner/chef has created a lovely restaurant with an excellent menu, particularly if ,like me you are partial to veal kidneys and ris de veau.. The rest of our group tucked into buffalo and rib eye steaks...

Yes, Rui, one of the owners said they tried to make it so you don't feel like your walking into somebody's house and they did ! The only part where I felt that was when you have to walk through one part of the kitchen to get to the lovely pool and sauna. What a lovely comfort after RIDING our...

We had visited Marmora many years ago and wanted to again. We looked online for options for places to stay, found the Marmora Inn and are very glad we did. Our stay was wonderful and the meals were excellent!

A beautiful Victorian-style home with unique people and decor. The house is filled with Eclectic art collection and books and curiosities. We had the double bed room, so the bath was outside the room, but we looked at the other suites and they are fabulous. Rooms are large and comfortable, although the mattresses not, i am not sure I could...

I can't tell you how much we adore this place. A B & B with European flare, art galore, indoor swimming facilities and a fantastic haute cuisine dining lounge called the Beaver and the Crow. We have stayed numerous times and enjoy the luxurious rooms with high thread count cotton sheets, bathrobes and all special amenities that you could ever...

We decided to stay at the Marmora Inn for the Marmora dive festival and our stay at the Inn was the highlight of our visit! The inn is a beautiful house that shows that Rui's carpentry skills are on par to his cooking ability! The beds were comfy, the view divine and it's a quick walk to the river to...

Cathy and Rui are great hosts in a heritage inn with fine dining. Best place to stay to break up a trip or to do a tour of the area. Meals are scrumptious and there is a large menu. We tried the sardines and loved them as an appetizer. Very European and we enjoyed our time in the indoor pool.

We spent 2 very comfortable nights at the Marmora Inn, we had room #5, a large room with a very comfortable king bed (an added touch would be a shelf in the bathroom) otherwise perfect. Breakfast was delicious, the first morning we had fresh fruit crepes and the second morning my husband had scrambled eggs and I had French toast,...

We booked a room at this inn through Trip Advisor for the weekend of the Havelock Jamboree, and could not have been more pleased. A beautiful Victorian-style home filled with art, books and curiosities; large comfortable rooms; very welcoming hosts and staff; and truly excellent food and menu I would not have expected to find in this small town. A...
