On a recent trip to Northumberland, we were famished, had our dog with us, but hadn't booked our lunch. To our great relief, we managed to get a table in the bar, and were amazed by the quality of the roast beef lunch...all for £8.95. There was a pleasant dessert from a small range, but for under five pounds. Our...

Have never actually stayed in this hotel, but as we have a caravan just up the road we are regulars here. Have had some fabulous meals, well priced in the very pretty dinning room.(dogs nor allowed in there) There's also a lovely cosy comfortable lounge and a very modern bar, that both welcome dogs. As well as the dinning room...

Lovely hotel right in the centre of Warkworth. Staff are lovely, rooms clean and well decorated. Food in both the restaurant and bar are very good indeed. Breakfast is also brilliant and really sets you up for the day. The beach and the castle are a few minutes walk away and the local pubs are also very friendly places. We...

We have just returned from a 3 day stay here and really could not fault it! The staff were friendly and helpful, the room was absolutely lovely with a huge super king size bed and spotlessly clean. Dogs were allowed in many of the rooms and in the bar and were no problem at all in fact we preferred to...

This was a long weekend away. Research had turned up the WHH as a good option. It is right on the Northumberland coast with great access to the wild interior of the county and all the coastal areas. Room, cozy, comfortable, very clean with good facilities. It is an old place so though all the rooms are really good, you've...

We've been several times to Warkworth House Hotel over the last few years and have always found the staff really friendly and helpful, the food excellent and the rooms clean and very comfy. The main reason we always chose this hotel is because we could take our Black Lab Storm. This time it was the first time we've been without...

We stayed one night and thoroughly recommend this lovely hotel. We had a delicious dinner in the bar which was served efficiently by a lovely polite girl. Food was really well prepared. Our room (22) was beautifully decorated and was clean and comfortable. En-suite was great, too, clean and spacious with a large double shower. We will definitely revisit this...

Spent a night in a dog friendly superior suite. Spacious, clean room. No indication of previous canine occupants. Nice bathroom. Very comfy, huge bed. Bit of road noise with it being at the front of the hotel but it didn't bother us. Staff very friendly & welcoming. It's a lovely old stone building quite near to the river. 1/2 mile...
